After everything that happened earlier this week, Yoongi had since been very distant. We would talk a little here and there, but nothing like we usually do. Whoever this Hae-Jee was, I needed to find out. What had started out as a small voice in the back of my head, was slowly teetering on the border of obsession. She was supposed to come over this afternoon at some point. I had to ask one of them.
Yoongi was fast asleep in his desk chair, with his head laying on top of his desk. He had been up all night, reading, writing, talking to himself. There was no way he'd wake up, at least not yet. I quietly snuck out, closing the door behind me.
"Kim Soo-Yin," I heard a voice say behind me. I turned around to see Jin standing behind me. "You're usually not up at this hour, what gives?"
"Jin, it's 11:00AM." I said. "I'm usually awake by 7:00 anyway thanks to Yoongi's schedule."
"Uh huh, sure. Something is troubling you isn't it?" Jin asked.
"Kind of," I replied.
"It's about tomorrow and the collaboration with Hae-Jee isn't it?"
"Is it that obvious?" I asked.
"Oh yeah, totally."
"Thanks Jin..." I said. "I need to ask, who exactly is Jeon Hae-Jee? What did she do to Yoongi to garner a reaction like he had earlier this week?"
Jin sighed and put his hand on my shoulder.
"Jeon Hae-Jee is..." Jin's voice trailed off for a moment. "Jeon Hae-Jee is Yoongi's ex."
At that moment, I felt like time had stopped. Yoongi has an ex? He told me that he had never been in love with anyone before. Did he still have feelings for her? Is that way he told me to stay away? Wait...if he hadfeelings for her still...then why would he attempt to kiss me? Why did he tease me in every way possible? If he did have feelings for her, hewouldn'thavereacted as upset as he did when the guys told him she wantedto collaborate with him. My mind was going in a million different directions and wouldn't stop.
