(Your POV)

It had been a few days after xiaos little 'incident', though I like to keep a close eye on everyone I start to talk to just to make sure they are safe, but I haven't seen him at all.

I hope he's okay, I mean he's an Adeptus he should be okay right?

I walked back Inside my small house made from log and stone, the wood floor was clean and everything was tidy. I had pots and pans gifted to me by a friend who's a chef. I would go out and buy flour to make dough. Luckily I still had some in a cabinet. I pulled it out and set it on the counter. I pulled out yeast, sugar, honey and salt. I needed warm water so I pulled out a metal pot and went outside and walked to the near by stream and filled the pot. I brought it inside and set it over the fire.

After a while I took the pot off the fire. I mixed my ingredients together and kneaded it into a dough. I let it sit and rise, about an hour later I came back. I punched the dough and watched it deflate. I set the dough in a bread pan and brought it outside. I started a fire in the bottom of the small brick oven. I set the bread in and put a piece of wood in front of the opening and let it be.

I went out with a rag and took the wood off of the brick, hot air blew into my face. I covered my face and grabbed the now baked bread. I brought it inside and set it on the counter to cool. After it cooled I got it out of the pan and sprinkled some flour on top. I grabbed a piece of cut fabric and wrapped the bread in it.

I put the bread in a weaved basket and walked out and called over kaiju.

I whistled loudly and in the distance I saw the black horse running towards me. He stopped and neighed at I walked closer to him. I tapped his belly and he laid down and let me climb on. He stood up and we started our way to wangshu inn.

After a while we arrived, I could sense xiaos presence but after what happened I thought I should give him some more time.

I'm sure He could sense my presence as well but I'll leave him alone for now.

I got off kaiju and made my way to the elevator, I don't understand how it works but it's amazing. Once at the top I made my way off the elevator and to the front desk.

Once the lady saw me she tried to call out to xiao but I quickly hushed her.

"Please don't let him know I'm here... I just wanted to drop off some bread that I made for him as a gift." I explained with a smile

She happily complied and took the bread from me.

"What's your name by the way, I saw you talking with xiao, I just want to make sure he's okay." She asked innocently as she set the bread on the counter next to her.

"Oh, I'm (y/n) I'm a goddess of greenery, but don't tell anyone!" I whispered and winked while I put my hands on my hips.

"A-ah! I'm so sorry!" She immediately bowed in front of me

"No! No don't be! I want everyone to be treated equally, so raise your head please." I said quickly while waving my arms.

She stood and thanked me she told me her Name was Verr goldet. We both introduced each other thoroughly. I left and got back on kaiju and left, it was dark out so I needed to get home soon, though some plants grew in moonlight, I'm afraid to go out after dark, after the thing that happened when I was young.

The thought of what happened me choke on my words.
Small tears brimmed at the corner of my eyes. I wiped my tears and continued home.

(Xiaos pov)

I could tell she was here , just the thought of her being near by made me feel embarrassed at what happened.

"Xiao, someone brought bread for you" Verr came out with the bread in her hands.

"I don't want any, besides it could be poisoned." I huffed in annoyance.

"Xiao will you try it?... please?"  I could tell there was sincereness in her voice.

"I already said no." I said firmly as I gazed down at her.

"....fine, I'll just leave it out here for you if you want any."  The defeat in her voice was prominent.

"She made it by the way." She said lastly as she walked away.

She made it? As in (y/n)?

I made sure Verr goldet was gone and jumped down and approached the bread. It smelled good, but I've never had stuff like this before. He picked it up and unwrapped it, it smelled good and was a nice golden brown on the top.

I sniffed it once more and took a bite out of the corner,I didn't have anything to cut it with but my spear but it has blood on it

I had to tear off a piece with my mouth and began chewing. It was the top was firm but the inside was soft and fluffy. So instead I ate the middle of the the bread and left the hard outside.

My stomach felt full, it was a good feeling but a feeling that I never really thought to be important since I'm an immortal and I don't necessarily need to eat or sleep.

In the Morning I took the rest of the bread and crumbled it up for any birds that might land here.

I folded the cloth that the bread was wrapped in.

I wanted to return it to her but I didn't know where she lived. I put the folded cloth in my pocket, it almost felt like part of her was with me now.
