Chapter 5

(Your POV)

It was early in the morning, my hands slid across my soft blanket as I slowly started to wake up.  I brought my arms above my head and stretched.

I didn't want to get up, I rolled over onto my stomach, I slowly opened my eyes, gentle sunlight came in through the open window right above the side of my bed. Slowly sitting up my eyes adjusted. A quiet yawn escaped my mouth.

"Purrrow" a cat jumped up on the windowsill. Because im a goddess of nature and greenery I'm used to animals often visiting me. I brought my hands up to the cat end rubbed it's head gently. The cat was brown and had nice long fur. It jumped down into my lap and I continued to pet it. After a while it jumped out the window.

"Well it's about time I got up." I said quietly as I scratched my head.  I slid out of bed and picked up my hair that still remained in the bed. I went to my drawers and pulled out a pair of white underwear and a skin colored bra, a white frilly shirt and a brown overall dress.

I didn't have a bath in my house so I had to use the small river or a large stream by my house.  I grabbed the bowl who I had crushed up silk flowers into a paste, which is what I use for body soap. For my hair I use rice water. I grabbed a smooth knife that I used as my razor.

I had my clothes, paste and rice water. I set all my stuff on a large flat stone. I took my long hair out of the braid and slipped my night gown off my shoulders. I was left in just my underwear. I slightly shivered, it was at the point where it was cold in the morning and warm in the evening, meaning winter will be here sooner than you know it. I didn't sleep with a bra on so my bare breast were exposed to the cold air. My nipples perked up as a gust of wind blew.

I slid my underwear down and off of my ankles I set my underwear on the stone and grabbed the rice water. I dipped my my long hair into the water and let it soak. I grabbed the rice water and a comb and ran it through my hair.

After I finished my hair I grabbed the knife and slowly took it up and down my legs to rid them of hair. I then shaved my arms and finally down there. I didn't like the feeling of the hair down there so I often kept it tidy. I grabbed the paste and rubbed it on my body,  I sat down in the water and rubbed my skin and made sure the paste cleaned me. After I was done I stood up and walked out of the water, I was cold and shivered.  I found a place in the sun and let my body air dry.

Since a lot of people don't come to the outskirts of jueyun karst, I'm fine with having my body out.

I heard a twig snap and I immediately shot up and had vines shoot towards the area.

I looked to see what it was... why was he here?

Xiao stood there and took a moment to register what he was looking at, I was standing there naked and ready to attack the intruder.

He face went beet red and he covered his eyes.

"O-oh xiao, I didn't expect you to come here. I thought you were an intruder" I said as the vines went back into the ground.

I walked up to him tapped his shoulder

"Are you okay?  You're red again, I just want to talk" I said upset as I tried to take his hands away from his face.

My arms slowly brought down his hands and he slowly opened his eyes. His orbs immediately shot down to my chest.

"Ugh xiao if your here for that. Im not doing it, men come by here to try and get with me and I always tell them no." I said angrily as I walked away from him and grabbed my clothes and started to put them on.

"No! Im not here for that.... I just wanted to return the cloth the bread was in..." he said quickly.

I put the rest of my clothes on and walked to him

"Hah... good, come in please, It would be my pleasure." I smiled and walked in my house.

He followed after me, I went to my cabinet and pulled out an apron, I enjoyed cooking and make a lot of what I eat.

"Is there any thing I can make you? I don't mind." I asked him as I guided him to the table.

"No I'm fine." He said dryly as he sat down

"Come on xiao... please... if your bringing back the cloth then you must've eaten the bread." I said pleading end giving him puppy dog eyes.

His ears grew red as I looked at him.

(Xiao's POV)

I couldn't help but blush, with what happened outside and her getting so close to me. My pants got tight but I was able to hide it this time.

I wanted to come return the cloth to her but at the same time I had a feeling deep down that I wanted to see her again.

I told her that I was fine and didn't need any food but those puppy eyes... how could I say no?

"Fine." I said grumbling my voice as I looked down.

"Amazing! What would you like for me to make?" She pressed on and  intertwined her hands together.

"Just something smooth, something that goes down easy. So preferably some almond tofu." I explained tediously to her.

"Almond tofu...I think I know how to make that." She said as she tapped her chin

She walked away and started pulling ingredients out of cabinets.

"Feel free to look around if you'd like."  She said as she started mixing ingredients.

I couldn't help but be curious about this little house. I've been all over liyue but I've never seen a house on the outskirts of jueyun karst.

I stood up and looked around. I walked through the hall, nothing was up on the walls unless it was a cabinet or a hanger.  I saw two rooms at the end of the short hallway, I continued walking and went to the door on the right, I turned the handle and looked inside.

It was her bedroom, a decent sized bed with a window above it , a dresser and a stool and desk. I walked near the desk to see it filled with papers some were drawings, sheet music and documents.  I looked around the room more and saw a violin and bow sitting on the floor. I picked it up and set it on her bed, I wanted to hear her play again so I don't want her to accidentally break it.

I exited her bedroom and went over to the room across from it and opened the door
