"Okay, I'll be right there" you hung up the phone quickly.
You can't help but grit your teeth in annoyance. You walk back to the two.
"Is everything okay?" Kakucho questioned you with concern.
You smiled a little before nodding. "Yeah, everything's fine but I really have to go"
"Already?" Koko asked.
"Yeah, it's kind of late already and I have to get back to work" you said as you look at your watch on your wrist.
Their faces looked like I just told them a very devastating news.
"Well then, I should go and again, thank you for the help, Koko and Kakucho" you bid them goodbye before rushing out of there.
As you walked out of there you glanced back at the place where you saw the man you had eye contact with earlier. But unfortunately, he wasn't there anymore.
When you're already outside the mall you immediately called for a taxi. You said your destination as you sat on the back.
You covered your face with your hand as you let out a muffled scream.
Ugh! Haru you fucking idiot, I'm going to kill you!
"Are you okay?" the driver asked.
You instantly straighten yourself in embarrassment. "Yes, I'm okay. Thank you for asking"
The time you had on the way to the café, you spend it by plotting the things you're going to do to your ex.
I swear, if he caused a problem or any kind of commotion on the café, I'm gonna rip his balls off and feed it to a stray dog!
You fiddled on your fingers while waiting to arrive on your destination. When you saw the café sign you almost jumped out of the car just to get there immediately.
"Here you go" you gave the driver some cash before going out.
As you rushed out of the taxi, you didn't notice the car parked outside of your café that you bumped into it. You bowed as a sign of apologizing when you saw some silhouettes inside.
When you regained your posture, you walked inside the café and there you saw your ex, Haru. He's on the far corner of the cafe, his hair is messy as if he just woke up or something, his eyes have dark under eyes and his face is red.
Luckily, there is not much people inside the café. You saw Ichiro holding a cup of hot coffee as he gave it to Haru, his eyes widen when he saw you.
"Boss!" he exclaimed. You put your finger in your lips to shush him. You walked to them with frustration.
"Boss, he's been here for an hour now, I tried to make him leave but he insisted on waiting for you"
"It's okay, Ichi. I'll handle this, you can get back to work"
