SCENARIO - It's coronation day! Prince Adrien now becomes the King in his mother's name. But Princess Marinette has been missing for weeks now, maybe months. In her place, as to not confuse the people and make them worry, a peasant girl named Y/n took the Princess's place and learned to be one. They both fell in love without King Gabriel knowing. But now, with Marinette only having minutes to come, Gabriel has to make the choice to crown Adrien without a Queen, or have Y/n become the Queen.

the miraculous don't exist in this world, and adrien is 19 with y/n at 18

Y/n stood staring at the dress with makeup artists and fashion people all around her. Her breathing was jagged as the beautiful, huge dress sat in front of her. "I- I can't put this on.. Princess Marinette will be here!"

The makeup artist standing next to her smiled, "Prince Adrien will be ready any minute. We cannot wait any longer for the Princess to show up, we need to start now."

The sure to become Queen sighed and looked down, "Alright, lets do this."

In her new dress, Y/n stood in front of the mirror. They were touching up her hair and she felt sick to her stomach. There was a knock on the door and someone opened it. In the mirror, the girl saw the king walk in.

"King Gabriel," she turned and bowed, along with everyone else.

"Y/n, I cannot wait any longer. The bells will ring any time soon. I hate to say this, but you need to join my son in marriage." Y/n's heart dropped in both a good way and bad. She stared at the King for a moment and gulped.

The King sighed, "Adrien told me his love for you. Now, I'm not upset, but I am going to tell you one thing," the King walked over to the girl and took her hands, "Adrien is becoming King in his mother's name, Queen Emilie. I have been grateful for you to come and fill the place while we searched for Princess Marinette.

"But, what I mean to say is, if you mess up, you'll go back to the village. Hurt Adrien and I'll hurt you. He'll teach you how to be a good Queen, and I have Emilie's journals I'd like you to look at." The bells rang as he spoke. "But for now, I need you to go out there and marry my son, Queen Y/n."

The girl flustered at the name and nodded. Gabriel let go of one of her hands and lead her out of the room. He walked her to the wedding hall and let her stand behind the doors. "I will be right back to walk you, alright? I have to go meet the people." Y/n nodded and held a bouquet that a guard handed her. She gulped.

In the wedding hall, Adrien stood in a completely white outfit, a symbol of peace and innocence. He zoned out while looking at the back doors as his Father spoke to his people. He couldn't get the thought of Y/n and him marrying AND getting crowned on the same day.

Gabriel introduced himself and his son, telling the people what was going on and such. The Priest was standing behind them with a Bible, ready to court these two people. Adrien went over his vows in his head that he had just written, making sure they made sense and he didn't get words mixed up.

When the people started clapping and Gabriel walked off, Adrien knew it was time. He stood forward, looking at the doors once again. His face was flushing without even seeing the girl of his dreams.

But when the doors opened and he saw her for the first time, he almost fainted. He gasped and covered his mouth. People around them stood and faced towards the girl. She felt her nerves start to shoot but she held herself together.

"Relax, Y/n. Everything will go perfectly. I promise," the King told her. She nodded and looked up at her soon to be husband. They both flushed and smiled.

It felt like ages for Y/n and Gabriel to get down the isle. Once there, Gabriel handed off Y/n to Adrien and they held each other's hands. The Priest talked to the couple before telling Adrien to read his vows.

Adrien inhaled with a smile, "Y/n, I know our love was unexpected at first and we both had no idea what was going on. But throughout our journey, I've figured out that you're the one for me. I don't have much to say, other than I love you and I'm so glad to become your husband and that you're becoming my wife."

The Priest handed it off to Y/n and she smiled, "Prince Adrien, well, King Adrien now, I thought you were way different than you were. But it didn't take much time to figure out the real you. And I fell in love."

The Priest continued as they put on the rings and then were handed the crowns. Y/n took the King's crown and Adrien bended down. "I crown you my King."

Adrien smiled and took his mother's crown. He looked at it for a moment as Y/n bent down. "And I crown you, my Queen, in the honor of my mother, Queen Emilie's, name."

Once they both had the crowns and turned towards the crowd, the people stood and clapped. Adrien lead Y/n down the isle once again and the doors shut behind them, Gabriel smiling, the biggest smile he's had since he met his own Queen.
