happy valentines day! I dont have school bc it's a teachers day or something, so here's this!

I do have to work today though- OH I GOT A JOB!

anyways, im tryna get out two other chapters for this book but I wanted to do this before anything. one's a smut and one's a lime— im going to hell.

Luckily for me, Valentines Day was on a Saturday this year. I had all day to get snacks and such ready for when Chat was coming over. It wouldn't be until later tonight, because he has civilian things to do, but I needed to make sure everything was perfect. My favorite Hallmark movie, Love at First Bark, was going to be on at 8, which was the time Chat and I agreed he'd come over.

It was currently noon, so I got up and started getting to baking. I wasn't as good as Marinette or her parents, but she sent me a recipe for some sweet Valentines Day cookies. Chat loved sweets, so I wanted to make a big batch. I also bought some cookies from the store just incase mine turned out horrible.

I got a little too excited for baking that I almost forgot Chat's gift. It's a little cheesy to get him lingerie that I'd be wearing as a gift, but we haven't had much time to ourselves recently. Marinette made it for me, though I told her it was for a friend over in America. That was a fat lie.

I hurried upstairs and ripped, figuratively, off my clothes to put on the lingerie. I tucked the little bell into the front of the bra so it wouldn't make much noise and slipped a hoodie and leggings on. I made sure I looked normal in the mirror and ran downstairs to continue baking.

Eight o'clock came faster than expected. It was only a few minutes before the movie turned on and I was fixing the blankets and such. I set up a fort in the floor incase we wanted to lay in the floor. Or incase I wanted to do it on the floor...

The cookies were warmed up and I had a couple glasses of milk set out. My present was all wrapped up for him and the window was open. With my back towards it, I didn't hear the sneaky cat come in, so he scared me when he hugged me from behind. "Happy Valentines Day, my love.~" he whispered into my ear. I blushed and smiled, turning around in his arms.

"Happy Valentines Day, Kitty." I said and pecked him on the lips. He smiled and let go of me, looking at everything I had set up.

"Y/n, you didn't have to do all this.." he said with a slight laugh.

"I wanted to, Chat! It's a special day for a special person." I smiled. He sat down on the bed just as the movie started playing.

"I have your present with me, princess," he spoke while reaching into his pocket. He pulled out a small box that looked like it contained jewelry. My eyes widened and I stood in front of him, holding the box.

"You didn't have to.." I said quietly.

"Just open it." I looked into his eyes and saw the excitement. I opened it and my eyes widened again. I sucked in a sharp breath as I stared at the necklace. It was a medium chain with a heart shaped diamond as the jewel. There was another small charm on it with a paw print. My eyes teared up and I took it out, putting it on. "Do you like it?"

I sat the box down and tackled him in a hug, pushing his back onto the bed. "I love it! It must have costed so much!" Small tears ran down my cheeks as he laughed and smiled. He sat up and held me in his lap, a smile plastered across his cheeks. "My gift isn't as good as yours though.."
