I wake up the next morning and find Y/N no longer beside me.
I glance around and see her by Spirit arranging things in the satchels. I try to get up and run to her but my legs collapse from under me. Punz throws me a concerned look and catches Y/N's attention before pointing to me.
She runs over to help.
"You okay?"
"Yeah, my legs just hurt though."
"We bet they do, I saw the cuts and scrapes earlier but I didn't want to say anything about it."
"Where are you going?"
"Hunting, getting water, and healing you, come on."
Y/N helps me to Spirit and ties the rope around my waist.
Punz walks over and hands her the empty canteens.
"See you in an hour or two, make sure the knights are all up."
He nods with a mock salute and a smile before turning away.
Y/N laughs lightly and turns Spirit to ride south. After we had put a fair amount of distance from the camp, Y/N jumps off the horse and surveys the ground.
"We far enough that they won't see?" she asks.
"Yes."
She puts her hand against the ground and smiles.
"I feel a steady flow of water, east."
She climbs back on the horse and rides full speed towards the rising sun.
Five minutes later they found a rushing river flowing along the banks of a forest.
Y/N cuts me loose and drops me to the ground.
"What are you doing?" I ask.
She ignores my question and moves boulders to make a small pool of water in the middle of the river where only a small stream of water flows in and out.

She leaves the canteens propped up against the rocks so they can fill and approaches me. She pushes me towards the river's edge.
"Get in."
"What?! No!"
The air is chilly enough and the water must be even colder.
"I can use the water to heal you, get in."
"No! It's going to be so cold!"
"Come on Dream! Why are you so stubborn?!"
I sit on the river's edge, refusing to move. She sighs and steps into the water, armor and all.
