valory put her phone down and looked at the ceiling
after two minutes she yeeted herself out of bed and dragged herself to the bathroom where she did her usual routine
she decided to go light on the makeup, only doing a small winged eyeliner and vaseline.
she looked at her phones weather app to decide what to wear today, it was quite warm for the end of october.
she decided to put some effort in and really tried to tie a cute and comfortable outfit together.
she put on a black cropped tank top, ripped jeans and an oversized zip up sweater that she stole from tyler

going over to her jewelry stand she put on a butterfly chain necklace and a longer chain necklace that had a gun as the charm, she put on a couple of rings and fixed her hair up in the mirror.
as she was touching up she started to hear knocking at her door, she ran downstairs and opened the door revealing her best friend since second grade.
"hi" she beamed with a small wave
val stared at her in shock
lili giggled and brushed a strand of hair away from her face
"you look like a fairy" val said and moved so she could step inside
"you are the reason i'm bisexual" she said keeping her gaze on her
lili laughed and did a little turn
her green cardigan spinning beautifully
she wore a green dress and a green cardigan on top, tights and sock layering on her legs

the two girls giggled before lili spoke again
"ok back to bussines" she said as she traveled to the kitchen, putting her backpack on the island
"oh yeah, why are you here?" val asked also coming to the kitchen "i mean not that i'm complaint but"
"i needed to steal some caprisuns...and i also wanted to ask you if my outfits okay" she mumbled the last bit
"why? are we trying to impress someone...maybe like, just as an example, a basic white boy?" val said wiggling her eyebrows
"no i don't find mark attractive"

"i just realized where in a group of white basic boys...i mean except lucas but..."
"anyways forget it are you trying to impress oh i don't know...ethan?" val wiggled her eyebrows

both girls squealed as if they were in a 2000's movie
"oh my god i fucking knew it!"
"yea and i think he likes me too"
"of course he fucking does i mean hell i'm in love with you"
"me? or a certain boy named mark"
"okay i'm not IN love with him i just sort of like his personality...and he's pretty cute and fine i like him okay?" val said as if she just came into terms with it.
lili giggled "i knew it"
"yeah yeah, you're psychic" val said waving her hand for her to shut up
the both laughed once again before val went into her pantry and got a box of caprisuns
"where do i put these?"
"just dump them in the bag"
val put the box on the island and zipped open the brown backpack
inside she saw a tupperware box of home made cookies, sliced up apples, some bread and some bird seeds from lilis blue cheeked conure bird.
muffins was a sweetie pie.
"why do you have apples, bird seed and a half a loaf of bread?" val asked her friend confused
"if i tell you it would ruin the magic of the hike" she smiled at her before dumping the caprisuns into the bag
"oh wait a minute!" val said before leaping up the stairs to her room
she quickly grabbed her speaker before running down the stairs almost slipping
"here" she reached it out to lili
"thank you" lili said sweetly before putting it in and zipping the bag
"do you have like a big bottled water? or like a big ass hidro flasks?" lili asked
valory opened the fridge getting a big bottled water from the neatly organized fridge
"i swear to god i love your fridge so much" lili said taking the cold water bottle and putting it in the side compartment
"yeah i do to, thank god that azalea's a neat freak"
"i fucking love azlea" lili said right before the door bell rang.
in the upcoming 30 minutes the rest of the group came, some being extremely late and some being early and some being just on time.
they all said hello and greeted each other with the now normalized hugs and left the house making there way down a dirt road following lili.
