[name] finds it's strange, terribly strange. Shinichiro may be smaller than them, yet he is far more powerful than [name].
He had a greater heart than she did.
Shinichiro's hands, on the other hand, are extremely little in comparison to hers. [name] is confident that if she took one of Shinichiro's hands in her own, she could easily cover the other's whole hand. Every time Shinichiro grabs her hand and grips it, they are taken aback. He grins when he realises the weight he shoulders. Why can't [name]? [name] thinks it's almost ironic. Shinichiro is little in comparison to others, yet he is psychologically powerful. And [name] is bigger, but not as strong.
She often worries if she will ever be able to match Shinichiro's strength. This is a question she frequently asks. [name], on the other hand, never dares to ask Shinichiro a question.
She likes to believe it's because she doesn't want to deal with such insignificant issues. Not when the boy is so preoccupied with taking care of his family, like an elder sibling should. It's truly because [name] doesn't want to hear him say "no."
Despite this, [name]'s inquiry slips her mouth before they could stop it.
"Do you think I can be as strong as you, Shinichiro?"
As everyone's gaze was drawn to [name], the shop fell silent. The question caught Shinichiro completely off guard.
"Er...I uh...", [name] says, her eyes were wide. They attempt to retrace their steps. "Just...forget what I said!" She truly hopes Shinichiro would listen to her, but [name] has her suspicions based on the way the man toyed with his fingers and slowly drew closer to her.
"[Name], you're already quite strong." Shinichiro speaks to her with honesty in his eyes. It has caught [name] off guard.
Shinichiro exudes confidence in his response. "You are unquestionably strong!" "I mean, you're a lot stronger than I am!" As if resolved to persuade [name] to trust him, he asserts.
'That's not what I was getting at; you and Takeomi are both the oldest in your family, but you don't seem to mind.' [Name] admitted it.
'It's Keisuke, isn't it?' Takeomi inquired.
[Name] let out a soft sigh, regretting ruining the lovely vibe that had previously existed. 'Forget about it,' [name] requested.
