The Accidental Antagonist

Third Person POV

The very next day she took the effort to find him and found him in one of her classes. She went up to him after the class and said "I have washed and dried your t-shirt" she was thinking of what to say next when he interrupted her but throwing the bag back at her.

"I told you that I need to throw it away anyway" he said coldly. That made her rendered speechless with his cold demure. And was being rude to say the least.

"I'm sorry I wasted my time to wash and dry that t-shirt. You know what don't let me see you near me ever again" she replied and soon walked away towards the door and leaving the class with her friends.

Meanwhile the person looks at the girl with an amused look. He was intrigued to find out more about her. She seem different. Very different.

Ever since he came she was the only one who wasn't acting like the people who wants any attention from him.

"Let's see about that" he said and soon he left the place and went to the cafeteria.

As he arrived he was greeted by the popular girl, Lee Sun Hee he think was her name. She was all over him a few times. He was attracted but not as attracted ad the girl who dare to say those words to her. The girl who got his attention. The girl by the name of Kang Jae Na.

Soon he decided to have a plan to get her attention. But who knew someone else had a far more better idea to humiliate her even more.

The days gone by and it was exactly a week later that incident had happened and Jae Na avoided him even more. He knew she was being insulted.  At first he felt nothing but seeing her sad expression made him felt bad for what had happened.

One day he decided to confront her. But as he was getting towards her the popular girl Sun Hee stopped him

"Hey there handsome where are you going?" She ask with a seductive voice.

He took one look at her and felt disgusted. He winced at the touch and he pushed her gently "Somewhere that is none of your damn business. Now leave" he said rudely as he pushed her aside and went in the room to find it empty.

Unknown to him Jae Na heard them and rushed out using the door and escaped quickly and headed towards the library.

She was avoiding him all week after that incident and the rumours got even worst.

Such as

"Such a teacher's pet"

"Doesn't she have a good rep with the professors? I'm sure she slept with them to get a good grades. Such a slut"

She got hurt even more but avoided them and was even protected by her two best friends.  It gotten so bad that she was called by the dean of her faculty and to address the issue she just told on her own point of view.

"I am sorry sir" she said head hung low, holding onto the tears that's about to come down. 

The dean felt pity towards her. He knew of those rumours when it started and try to stop them but it was gotten worse that the student body council decided to have her get a temporary suspension until the rumours died down.

It was unfair but they couldn't find the person who started those rumours. Soon she was told to just rest at home.

She nodded and soon she thanked the dean and with slow steps left the dean's office with a heavy heart. Her two best friends held onto her tight comforting her as she starting to cry.

"It's okay. We're here. We will help you solve this. One way or another" Yoo Jin said and Soo Ji just nodded in agreement. 

Soon they separated and left to go home. Except for Jae Na who got on the bus and went to work. While on the bus she was thinking

"I wish I can disappear for awhile" she thought as she was listening to some music. Soon she has arrived and got off the bus and found the weather turned colder and it started to rain.

Her luck became worse when she found out that the restaurant had a leak and was told to close for a little while. With a heavy heard she rode on another bus and got straight home to find her family all together having their meal.

"Oh Jae Na you are home early" her mom ask and she saw her daughter drenched.  Soon after she saw tears coming down from Jae Na's eyes and was worried

"What happened? Did someone hurt you?" She ask. Soon her whole family surrounded her as her mom wipe her body with a clean towel.

"Go and get yourself dry first" her dad finally say and soon they went to sit down and soon after Jae Na joined them at the table.

Still have tears lingering around her eyes she sighed and started eating.

"What happened?" Her brother finally ask.

"Did someone bully you noona?" Now her younger brother ask

"YA YA YA!! Let her talk first" Their mom said and soon Jae Na wiped the remaining tears and told everything that had happened.

"I went to the dean and they told me that I was suspended until the rumour died down" Jae Na said and soon there were three men who was mad. Like a raging bull yelled out

"Let me call my lawyer! I'm using the university!!" Her father said. Her mom then called him back

"Yeobo. Please. Let them handle it. I'm sure they will find the culprit soon" their mom said.

"But yeobo our daughter got hurt!!"the father said.

"I'm sure they will find evidence of who started the rumour and how it will spread out soon. Look just calm down and give it time. Jae Na don't worry okay. First you eat okay. Eomma will take care of you will you are home" her mom said stroking her daughter's head.

"I hope so. I have a lawyer friend who can help" the eldest said

"I can get my friends to find out too" the youngest added. He too wants to help. 

They couldn't believe their sister got hurt like this.

"You two better not! Just let it calm down till the rumour died down okay. Now let's finish our dinner and maybe enjoy a movie?" Her mom suggested and soon the rest of the family agreed.

Jae Na was grateful her family and friends were still there for her.

But this was just the calm before the storm as back at the university there was another rumour of Jae Na coming out of the dean's office and sleeping with him.

The rumours became unstoppable.  And it made everyone question the council if they are trustworthy or not.

Meanwhile at the cafeteria a group of girls were sitting together and talking about shopping. One of them were smirking when she heard someone passing by talking about the rumour and about the suspension.

'Serves you right you goody two shoes. No one messed with me. Now you will leave the university for good' the person thought
