Chapter 2 : The Attack

*12 years later

"Come on Dean it's time to go!!" I yell to my 18 year old brother.

"I'm coming Val!" Dean yells back to me.

Today I'm finally turning 20!! Wow I feel old.

So I'm going to tell you a little about myself firstly I am the oldest of 6 children. Yeah I know that's a whole lot of kids right? Well here in Krane its normal to have up to 10 or 15 kids.

So anyway I own 3 of the largest and most successful international businesses. I'm the owner of the most comfortable and fanciest hotels, called Royal Cottage Resort, I also own the busiest and most successful technology companies which focus on the tech of tomorrow and cures of all imaginable diseases.

Since I have multiple abilities including intelligence, I decided to make good use of it and start these companies to help the people of my planet. I've built them all myself with some help from Dean.

I should also mention that I became an Elder as soon as people figured out I had 4 abilities. I have many more than that but that would cause uneasiness to the society so no one else knows about it but me.

Due to them being so successful I became pretty wealthy. I moved out of my parents house when I was 15, making me in adult here and since our house was very crowded my brother Dean wanted to come live with me and since we're only 2 years apart we're really close.

Ever since my grandparents died I've gotten really close to him and I trust him with my life, I also started immense training.

I learned to control and master almost all of my abilities, I trained with the best and improved in a short amount of time.

Well I'll leave it at that you'll find out more about me later on.

Many of my closest friends and family decided to throw me a party and since the came up with the "great idea" to do it at my house they literally kicked me out. Which, by the way was really hard for them because I love my house since I built it myself. It took me a while but I managed to finish it in less than 3 months.

So I've been forced to live at one my hotels for almost 2 weeks with my little brother, since he's supposed to keep me away.

And today I finally get to come back home, I'm so excited. I miss my house. Like they say there's no place like home.

"Okay let's go sis" says Dean.

"Okay you didn't forget anything did you?"

"Nope, now come on let's go" he says while popping the 'p'.

"Alright already"

Hmm for some reason I keep getting chills, even though the weather's perfect today. You know when you get that feeling something terrible is about to happen.

Well that's exactly how I feel right now, and it seems like someone or something is watching us. I keep looking back but I don't see anything. Huh it's probably just my imagination. At least I hope so.

"What's wrong Val?" concern clear in his voice.

"I don't know Dean something feels wrong, like I have a bad feeling something bad is about to happen."

"Oh well I hope nothing too bad happens"

I simply nod.

See every time I feel this way something either really good or something really bad happens, and it's definitely not good.

The last time I got this feeling was when a deadly virus had suddenly started paralyzing people and slowly killing them, but made the worst part was that they turned insane and killed anything and anyone who got in there way.
