I was frozen and unable to move from my spot, just ahead I see a large outline hidden from within the shadows of the forest. Large dim orange eyes are staring intently at me, but for some reason he seems familiar, almost like I know him.
'Worry not Valerie, I will help you.' A deep smooth voice suddenly said.
Shocked at the sudden voice I quietly answer back, 'Who are you?'
'Someone who probably has a lot of explaining to do, but for now rest assured I will protect you. Once we get you and your brother out of here I'll explain everything'
"Enough wasting time, let's take her to the cells now" Nick said bringing me out of my thoughts.
Nick gives the order and 5 hooded men come towards me, all but one are carrying large weapons. They hold me tight and one of them comes closer to me with a needle in his hand and aims it towards my neck.
I shut my eyes not wanting to feel the sting of the needle, but while I'm waiting I hear a strange gurgling sound and a loud thud.
My eyes quickly fly open and I notice the guy with the needle laying motionless on the ground a couple feet away from me, his neck and shoulders completely torn. When I look up I see an enormous wolf like animal standing protectively in front of me. His huge frame covering my body completely, keeping me still.
"What the hell is that thing?!" Nick yelled, clearly pissed that things aren't going his way.
"Whatever I don't care just get her at all costs."
Right when he said that the giant wolf growled viciously. Since he was clearly not budging from his spot the hooded men slowly crept forward, keeping watch over all of the wolf's movements.
When I look up to the wolf he has a weird wolfy smirk on his face. Suddenly one of the men points his weapon and shoots. In a quick swift motion the wolf had him pinned down and easily ended his life.
Shocked at his sharp movements all the men go in at once and like before they're no match for him. It was like watching everything in slow motion, shots were being fired but he quickly dodged every single bullet coming his way and in less than two minutes all the hooded men had been eliminated. Motionless bodies lying everywhere.
"Ugh! That's enough!! Hand over the girl now, or the boy gets it." Nick said frustrated but still managed to smirk at us.
He was holding a blindfolded Dean. He was fine but by the look on Nicks face it wouldn't be for long. I saw as he struggled to get out of his grip and almost escaped but as soon as he got up Nick jammed a needle with a turquoise liquid into Dean's neck.
Dean's body slowly slumped downwards, before his body hit the ground I pushed the wolf out of the way and in a split second I was standing face to face with Nick. I grabbed him by the collar and pushed him to the ground.
The ground beneath us shook and suddenly his hands and feet were trapped on the ground. Since he couldn't move I took advantage of the moment and let all my anger take control.
When I did, it was like I was looking at myself through a little window. I watched as I saw my body hit Nick over and over again until my fists came back wet with his blood. Although it was satisfying to hear his bones break beneath me, it was nowhere near enough payback for what he did to me.
I stopped and noticed I was panting. He laid still on the ground and his breathing was slowing down. When I got a closer look, his dark hood was slipping away from his face.
You know that gut feeling that warns you not do whatever it is you want to do because you'll probably regret it later? Well curiosity got the best of me and I leaned down and slowly pushed the hood all the way back.
