Inside the Winters home where a lovely married couple resided in was packing up a few bags for your trip, you were secretly told you'd be in a deep undercover mission to gain any information on the rumoured corporation called 'The Connections'. The BSAA was suspicious of their motives and needed someone to infiltrate their building as a worker and gather whatever intel you could get your hands on.

Once your things were all set and packed (minus your weapons which were always locked away in your locker back in the BSAA HQ hidden away from those around you other than your comrades), you walked over to the door getting your coat and shoes on ready to head off.

"How long will you be gone this time?" Ethan asked placing your bag down by the front door of the home you two shared.
"Hopefully not long this time, I'm sorry I'm gone so much." You frowned.
"It's fine babe, your out researching for stuff that will change the world. I'm proud of you." Ethan smiled as one of his hands gripped your arm and moved down to hold your hand.

You smiled masking how sad it was a bit, you felt rather guilty that you were keeping this a secret from your husband...ever since 2005 you've been an operative of the BSAA and became the go-to person for any form of undercover mission needed. Your success in undercover operatives was what gained the attention of the BSAA and was how they recruited you.

Hench your departure.

"Hey now, what's wrong?" Ethan asked.
"It's nothing." You shook your head.
"Come on you can tell me anything, what's bothering you?" Ethan asked.
"Well, I...I guess I'm just upset that I couldn't have more time here at home with you. I was supposed to have to time off after so long." You explain.

Which was indeed true, you worked so hard for years and the only time off you were given was when you and Ethan had gotten married and spent all those months for your honeymoon before you had to return home.

"Hey, it's okay. You were called back because your skills are needed." Ethan says trying to reason with you and cheer you up.
"But our plans..." You muttered.
"We can reschedule them for another date." Ethan smiles.
"Your so patient when it comes to the importance of my job." You smiled after a chuckle.
"I know how important it is, besides you've always found ways to make time for both of us." Ethan smiled.

You felt so lucky to have a husband like Ethan, you were so happy for the day you two first met and soon started dating. Apart from your job within the BSAA, being with Ethan felt like you actually could have somewhat of a normal life. Be a normal woman in the world.

But of course, you weren't but it still felt wonderful to have that part of normalcy in your life, to go home to a warm place, to a husband with open arms. Just that in general made you feel like the luckiest woman in the world.

Bringing you into his arms the two of you embraced for a moment before the sound of a car honk went off. Sighing you smiled up at your husband who smiled back at you and cupped your cheek.

"Have a safe trip," Ethan explains.
"I will, and don't worry I'll call you soon as I get settled in." You promised.
"That'd be great," Ethan replied.

Ethan always did worry for your safety whenever you weren't in his line of sight, it wasn't that you couldn't handle yourself but he loved you a lot that he couldn't imagine if something were to happen...but he had faith in you and your abilities so most of the time his worries washed away.

With one last kiss to one another you opened the door after you picked up your bags and walked out towards the car, Ethan stood at the entrance and when you turned around for one last time to wave he smiled and waved back and stood there watching the car drive off until he couldn't see it anymore than headed back inside closing the door behind him.
