Chapter 9

If your memory served you correct you knew that Lucas could be anywhere right about now as you and Ethan had entered through the hidden door on the wall. Unknowingly to you both, however, Lucas followed close behind hiding behind the corners as he watched you two carefully make your way to figure out where the code could be for you guys to possibly get in that room.

Checking the rooms that were there Ethan was busy at the time as he carefully looked into the other room that held some explosives which he blew one up one by one. Gathering whatever supplies that were needed before you both had gotten further into what seemed to be a barn.

Killing whatever molded was there you and Ethan had walked up the stairs and checked on the second floor of this place for anything you may or may not need for the time being, though when you both did place the fourth battery into the slot that it needed suddenly the place came to life and Lucas's voice came through the intercom which honestly was either a recording or it was really him watching the both of you.

That gave Lucas the chance he needed to act so just as you turned around instinctively he had punched you in the face watching you collapse to the floor with a humoured giggle and put you over his shoulder.

"You're coming with me. I got some plans for you~" Lucas laughed.

By the time Lucas was at the entrance of where you both came through Ethan had looked around for you only to see Lucas with you in his grasp and mocking a salute to him as he laughed walking away. The shotgun she used was on the ground where Ethan guessed she had fallen before Lucas took her.

"LUCAS!!" Ethan shouted in anger.

Damnit! He needed to get his wife back because he wasn't sure what the hell this bastard would do to her, first, he had to deal with the huge molded that seemed to be transported there and was inside an elevator. To Ethan's horror, he was having to dodge the fucker as it began puking up even more of the mold that infected this place as he unloaded bullet after bullet towards the thing.

'Hold on, (y/n)...I'll get you away from that freak soon enough.' Ethan thought.

Rolling out of the way from another attack the big molded monster sent towards him Ethan quickly crawled to grab the shotgun and unloaded the bullets left inside it before the big molded monster had finally fallen down and blew up ending this battle once and for all.

Knowing though that he didn't have a choice but to move forward Ethan hoped it would be his chance to get out of here and get wherever you were at though if he'd had to guess you were gonna be wherever he had Zoe at and god knows what he could be doing to you now.

'No don't think like that...(Y/N) is a strong woman she'll survive...but still I need to know if she's safe or not.' Ethan thought.

He worried for you - his wife dearly, you were his whole world and to lose you again like this would be the worst...he just got you back so he couldn't afford to go through all that again. So to get out of there he used the elevator to get out of there and it brought him to an area where he later found the chard remains of the guy he saw on the video with a paper stuck to him. It read the code then 'You're Next' on it.

Looking around he noticed a button that had 'Stairs' on it which thankfully lead him back to where the two of you had been previously. Rushing to put in the code Ethan later tried to enter the room but Lucas through the intercom stated that he had to get rid of all the things he was carrying into the box behind him.

'You've got to be kidding me right?' Ethan thought.

But in the end, he had to since when he tried for the second time it was indeed that, sighing he grumbled a bit at these stupid rules this bastard was giving to play his sick games, even so, he had to do whatever it took to get back to your side. Reluctantly he placed everything inside and the door was unlocked once inside however Lucas locked him in.
