First for everything

I decided too walk up the stairs where the golden gate was, it opened without a squeak, first time I have never heard a gate squeak, well maintained. I walked up, holding the white banister, and walked upwards slowly, carefully placing my foot down by each step. It seemed like a long way up, only the steps at school made my legs ache. For some reason my legs aren't aching probably because I went through hell to get here.

I couldn't even see the top of the stairs yet, this is going to be long. If this was heaven then why the bloody hell was it so hard to get here. Every time I saw a movie when I was younger, you would just float up here, and into the clouds, and then suddenly grow wings. Well it is  a movie, nothing in a movie is true, unless it says it's real.

But most people think heaven and hell are both myths anyway. Oh I do miss the good old earth, being here is so lonely, there isn't any sounds. I was expecting angels flying around greeting me and singing like a choir in church, guess not...

It's cold up here, at least I still have the feeling of temperature, I'm not completely dead yet. I don't even know what happened. All I remember is being put of a sandy island in the middle of 3 dimensions. I wonder what would of happened if I went to the right one, it looked like earth, guess I'd become a lost soul, kind of like a ghost in some way or another. I'd definitely not go to the one on the left, the screaming souls of the tortured, like if I got too choose which dimension I want to go in, then who in the their right mind would want to go to hell. I guess they had no choice.

I have always wanted to see a fallen angel, that would be cool, I hope I get wings as well, not to big that will get in the way, just an average size wings. Oh my god I think I am nearly here at the top. I see a little box. It kind of looks like a ticket station, like a train station. Would I be riding my way to heaven, V.I.P seats be like.

Finally I reached the top after god knows how long. I walked to the ticket box, finding a young girl, maybe aged 12, she handed me a ticket, her small wings were so fluffy.

"Hello there, welcome to heaven, here you will need to grab a ticket from the ticket machine over there, on that white pole. After that get on the train, the train will go through the barrier. If you cannot get through the barrier, come back and I will see why you can't go up there. By the way I am Elanor. Please to meet you! I hope you enjoy you're stay."

She smiled, and sat back down on her pillow, and went to sleep. I hope I can go through the barriers. I got the ticket from the machine and hopped onto the train. The lay out was weird, there were separate rooms, soft pink carpets, golden walls and white out lines. Rainbow looking curtains, sliding glass doors, a small corridor leading to other rooms. I walked into one of the rooms, there was a cosy corner where the bed was placed, pastel pink covers and pillow, with a fluffy pastel blue pillow. Some sort of cupboard above the bed which had my favourite snacks, it also had some extra softer blankets.

I sat down on the soft bed thinking about what had happened, my memory was wiped. It had been weird. I opened the curtains the sky was pure blue with white clouds. I opened a pack of Doritos and scoffed some, I honestly didn't think when you died you could eat anything. Meh I am happy, a little nervous. The train hasn't started yet. I looked down beside the train, and there sat husky, he climbed onto the train and trotted down the corridor, then noticing me sitting on the bed, he sat by the closed glass door. He looked so cute. So I got up and opened the glass door.

The husky ran and jumped onto my bed whilst wagging his fluffy tail. I didn't know dogs could go to heaven. I closed the door again then sitting on my bed to stroke the dog. I wonder what happened to you?

"Hi there, I am snow, and yes don't freak out, I am talking, I am a talking dog, weird isn't it? I have always wanted to speak to a human, anyway, what happened too you?"

I was startled.

"I don't know what happened, I can't remember, all I can remember was being put on a sandy island in the middle of know where, with 3 dimensions around me to choose from. What happened to you?"

He panted before speaking.

"I died of old age, my kidneys were failing, and I had tumours all over me. They weren't malignant though. But I was suffering a bit, at least I lived a good old age, 10 in fact. I miss my owner, she was such a good human, I even won a few medals as well, you know the dog racing and that. Yes, I won a few golds and silvers. Life was so fun. By the way you look really young, like in your twenties. Interesting. Sorry if I talk a lot I am just so flabbergasted how I can speak. It's amazing how you can understand me. Anyway is it ok if I can sleep here, girl it's scary being alone. Oh and did experience this weird thing where it was a never ending loop, my god it was scary. The teleporting and that was madness. Yo there were cats everywhere, I honestly don't know how I can remember all this stuff. Oh yes, I'll shut up now. Sorry I just love talking."

He closed his ice blue eyes and laid down beside me. And fell asleep. I sank into the bed thinking real hard about how I died, I would soon find out how I died. I am pretty sure Elanor could tell me. I wonder how she died. An unknown man got onto the train he walked past my room that I chose and smiled at me. He looked around about 30 years old. Skinny looking, pale, black hair, brown eyes, nice shining white teeth. He was handsome. I couldn't help but look at him from across the corridor. I am totally not a "creep".

The train started to move and it went up a hill and carried on going up a very steep slope, almost at a 90 degrees angle vertically. I curled up next to the dog, and went to sleep. Time passed quickly I woke up maybe a few hours I had sleep. And we had arrived at a field full of small houses and full of angels. I guess I made it too heaven. My first time being here obviously.

The husky was already talking to other dogs, his wings were small and cute. I looked at mine and they were the perfect size. Not to big and not to small. I was so excited. Elanor held my hand and looked up at me.

"It's ok, you can live with me, I live alone in a small cottage near a lake. Oh and if you want to know how you died I can tell you, but somewhere privately though. Some angels here don't like talking about how each person died, it makes them upset, depends on how they died it could make there wings go like an ugly blue colour. And I got shot, yes, kind of sucks, I hadn't even got a boyfriend yet. Not even a single kiss. Depressing in my opinion. I wanted to become a doctor as well. I passed everything. Until some idiot decided to shoot me. But from time to time I visit my parents as a ghost. They still morn me, and see the shooter in prison, and yes that's about it. It's the first for everything these days. honestly though people in earth are just psychopaths. Well some are."

Her wings went like a blueish colour. I kneeled down to hug her.

"Come on lets go home."
