Home sweet home

Her house was small. Near the cottage were some flowers, and crystal clear water lake. Elanor's house looked like a mushroom almost, with a blue roof and white flat rocks on top, the walls were a milky white, and the windows were circled with little curtains. The door at the top was curved with ivy covering the way in, it was truly the most beautiful house I have seen.

"Well since we are out of the way and my wings have gone back to white, I'll tell you how you died. So be prepared."

I looked at her with a panic look. She held my hand and lead me to her comfy sofa, and gave me a candy floss tasting soda.

"So as I recall you were on a beach. So you went into the water to swim with your friends at first. You felt a grab but you ignored it. Which understandable. Anyway you got out, and went back in, but your friends went out for good, so you were all alone at the beach. And you remember the time I told you that demons can walk the earth too. Well unlucky for you, it was a water devil, so it dragged you down. What these devils do is they loop you into your own fear. Whatever that is, you must break the loop, or an angel will fly down and try save you from the loop. Funny enough those angels are the queens guards, more stronger than the guards from hell and earth."

I looked at her, with horror and shock, I was murdered by a demon, I thought those things were myths. This is definitely mind-boggling.  My wings started to turn blue and then I started to cry. My innocent life was taken by the most horrible paranormal thing in all times. This was not fair.

"I want to go to earth. Take me to earth Elanor, I will fight these demons till there is none left."

Elanor looked at me, she was surprised to hear such words. Then started to drink her soda, afterwards smiling.

"We need more light guards. Obviously you will need some training, but before you get into all that stuff you need to have your own house at least meet the council here, then tomorrow since you only just got here, you need to do an angel test. It is just based on how pure you are, it's just a simple test. Oh and then you will go to angel class, how to understand the basic skills and how heaven works and what not. I can come with you tomorrow if you want. I have no duties and have a lot of spare time."

I flapped my wings and smiled, I already felt like I was here for along time, I hope I get to see my mum, would she even be here?

"Hey I have a question. Do you know my mother? If you do can you show me to her?"

Elanor's wings went blue, she got and walked off to the kitchen to get more soda. Then coming back with some punch. She sat back down with her blue wings. She made me a little worried, I hope I didn't say anything that offended her.

"Our mother is a fallen angel, she went against the rules of heaven. Communicating to the evil, I knew she was pure but the queen has ruled this place for thousands of years, And many people have tricked her in many ways. So she was sent to earth. Like a lost soul almost. She can still fly around and communicate to her loved ones, you can talk to her and all but you cannot bring her back here. Or else you will become one of the fallen angels as well."

Did she just say "our" mother. I didn't know I had a step sister. Why didn't my family not contact me saying I had a little sister. This isn't fair. I bet you it was too do with my dad. He was toxic anyway, abusive, he'd kick animals and swear at old people if they weren't fast enough. I hope he goes to hell.

"Anyway enough of the dark talk, let me introduce me to everyone, the neighbours, you can build your own house or you can stay with me. Either way I still get to see you. Oh it also gets dark here, and all angels are expected to be indoors by the time the moon rises. It's just a safety precaution nothing to worry about. Anyway let's go."

She held my hand and pulled me up from the seat, she skipped to the door, and opened it. First we walked down this small ally way, it was very colourful, the floor was white but the walls were rainbow like. We headed to the first house. A old lady around about 70 years old came out to greet Elanor. They both hugged, they must know each other very well.

"This is my grandma I didn't know her till I came here. But she is the best out of this neighbourhood. She is the best at baking cakes and that."

The old grandma looked at me a smiled, she reached out a stroked my arm to greet me. I wish I had such a great grandma, my grandmother must be in hell, she caused the death of my grandfather. She'd continuously abused him. Probably why my father is like the way he is now, abusive and controlling.

The grandmother started to water her plants and walked back indoors, it was getting dark, I was looking forward to seeing my people, but as Elanor said was when it gets dark all angels must be indoors. I don't know why though. Shouldn't heaven be safe? Me and Elanor started to head back home, down through the Alley way again and past the crystal lake. There was only one bed so I would volunteer to sleep on the hammock in her living room. The sofa was soft and all, but it was kind of hurting my back. When I was down on earth hammocks were the best thing to sleep on, it curved and supported the spine.

We got in through the door, and there in the middle of the living room sat the husky dog, I had met on the train. He started to wag his tail and ran up to me and Elanor. Then coming out of Elanor room was another dog who was a German Shepard, the brown and black fur was so soft. They both started too pant.

"Alright there, how was your day Snow and cocoa?"

Elanor started to make food for the dogs whilst I sat down to near the window and looked outside. It was already really dark, there I saw in the distance was a polar bear, and her cubs. wondering the streets of crystal lake town. It was cute, I honestly didn't know that wild animals can come here. But then where would they go if they died? Here of course.

"Right I have fed the dogs I am going to sleep, night."

Elanor walked into her bedroom and closing the door, the ivy covered her door and her door nob had disappeared. I was all alone in the living room with the two dogs. I closed my eyes and wrapped my fluffy wings around me to keep myself warm. It was quite cold here in heaven, but not that freezing till the point where I get frost bite. The dogs slept on the sofa curled up together, and the sound of the owls outside was relaxing. I am really looking forward to my first ever lesson tomorrow.
