I rolled my eyes knowing damn well I wanted to see Elijah fine self.
I took a shower, brushed my teeth, and put on some Nike shorts with a white shirt. I walked out the bathroom and slid on my fuzzy bear slides and put on my burgundy robe/blanket.
I walked downstairs and heard a knock at the door. I happily skipped danced all the way to the door, opening it to see my mother, standing there with her bags.
I was shocked. I didn't know what to do. I haven't seen her since I turned 15. She looked up at me and mugged me up and down. Not even finna lie to you, it hurt cause I thought she was gonna look up at me and smile with big open arms.
