People always wonder what my number one fear is, And I always reply with "the dark", but when people ask me why, I don't have an answer. Well, I do, but they wouldn't understand. I've been afraid of the dark for years now. For no reason other than the fact that "it's scary", but that doesn't count as much of a reason, now does it? No, no I have a real reason, but as I said, they wouldn't understand... But maybe you will?

You see, adults always say that monsters don't exist, But they're wrong. In the dark corners of your room at night, they lay in wait. They watch you from the little patch of shadow where the street light can't reach. They just watch. And wait...

You may think that's why I hate the dark, but that's far from my reason. The reason I just gave you is the normal reason that anyone would give you, and it's rubbish. All of it. Because monsters don't live in the dark corners of your bedroom or in the dark streets at night...

you may find yourself asking
'Well then where do they live? do they even exist'

Well no one ever thinks of the one place that's always dark, that can never be bright or sunshine-y. Now I can't tell you what it is, because the monsters will be angry with me, but I can give you a hint:

The place where monsters really hide is with you no matter where you go. you can never run away from it and you can't function without it.

Now, I leave you with one question:

There isn't any light source in your mind, now is there?
