Valentina still couldn't believe what she had learnt about the school, everyone there was monsters and she was the only human in that school.

"How did you get in?" Vade whispered to her since they were both sitting closely to each other. "I don't know..My parents signed me up and all of a sudden I was here in person, the principle even talked to me himself.."

"Strange no one is even able to get a hold of the principle unless necessary it's weird that he would just approach you..what is that darn principle up to..don't worry I'm a vampire so i will be able to protect you from all the other students but just be careful okay?"

"It's just hard to believe..actually my roommate devora knows but she's the only one..she said I should get out as soon as possible but I can't I have no where else to go and I don't know my way back.."

"Don't worry your safe with me just trust me okay?" Vade said smiling at her.

She was still scared, "anyway so what do we do in this class?"

"Actually this class was made specifically for the witches but we just attend it to observe everything their doing, so we can learn their history..it's kind of like history but instead it's witch history so we learn all about witches and how they form their potions etc."

"Oh..but why do we take this class?"

"So we can learn about our fellow classmates duh." Vade told her.

"Oh right..so we just take notes basically?"

"Yeah of course."

After the class was finished she walked to her other classes with vade.

Soon it was time for lunch.

As she was walking with vade she got a lot of stares. "Don't worry their just staring because your the strange new girl..and their are already rumors spread about you by the Populars, it's mostly because we never get new students and especially in the middle of the semester." Vade told her.

"You'll be okay if your with me, are you scared though?"

She smiled at him, "no I'm okay." She told him but deep down she was really scared and wanted to get out of that school but there was no other way so now all she had to do was trust vade's word even though she barely knew him.

"How can I trust you? Your a monster just like the rest of the kids in this school.."

"Same way you can trust devora." He told her.

"I don't trust her..I just met her."

"Well you should trust me and devora, their might be other students in this school who are kind to humans but most of us aren't because we don't have a good kind of relationship with humans.."

"But why is it like that?" She asked him.

"Well I'm not sure I guess it's just because of what happened between humans and monsters along time ago."

"well tell me what exactly happened between them?"

"well in ancient history humans and monsters use to coexist but one day a human named verda betrayed her best friend birtha it is said that her best friend was a vampire  she was picked on for for being different at the human school, her best friend verda was the only one she trusted but all that changed when verda sided with the popular at school and set a trap for her own best friend birtha was surprised she didn't think her own best friend could betray her like this but she took revenge and turned her bff into a vampire like her so verda would know how it felt."

"what happened after verda was turned?"

"she killed herself in the sun and burnt away to ashes she couldn't handle being the monster, for awhile birtha blamed herself  after learning the truth about verda's death  her family hunted birtha down  and they found the weapon that could kill a vampire the stake, and that is how the weapon became known among the world as the only weapon that could kill a vampire, verda's family was the first set of vampire hunters and birtha was the first generation vampire."

"well believe it this is why monsters and humans are enemies today and monsters choose to lurk in the shadow while the humans today believe we are a myth it is better that way because otherwise if they found out about us today who knows what would happen."
