Two days, merely two days since the six started living in the forest. They had been alloted some measly chores for the time being.

"Panchali, where are going?" Questioned Arjun when he saw her walking in the opposite direction from their hut.

Draupadi however didn't turn and continued walking as if she didn't hear anything.

"Let her go Bhrata, she needs some time for herself," Muttered Sahdev, getting a vision that her solo trip would be beneficial.

The brothers nodded and got back to their work, internally worrying about her. They knew she was a trained warrior and could defend herself from the wild animals, but still, the heart of a lover beats faster when their beloved is far.

An hour passed but Panchali didn't return, the brothers were getting anxious but didn't trace her footsteps to give her some privacy.

"Ahhhhh" They heard a voice, which undoubtedly belonged to their wife. Without wasting a second, the five had their weapons in their hands and were running towards the source of sound.

Running through the wilderness, they found no trace of Panchali, "Draupadi," They called out several times but no response.

And then they heard, the sobbing sound,.... of a kid? Yes, a baby screaming and crying.

Arjun went upon to check, and found a baby with cuteness that could even melt Demon Kali's heart.

He smile seeing the baby, but smile vanished as saw the face more clearly, and realised-

"OMG" He yelled and nearly dropped the baby on the ground, luckily Bheem who was nearby caught the baby in mid air, saving the child.

"What are you doing?" Bheem snapped. But Arjun, who looked like he had seen a ghost, "Panchali?" This bought the four's attention.

He pointed at a kid and they realised, this kid was none other than Panchali.

"Shit," Nakul whisper-yelled watching the baby settle comfortably in Bheem's arm.

Immediately Arjun slapped Nakul's head, "don't curse in front of a kid," And Yudhishthir nodded approvingly.

"We must take her, and then we shall contact Vasudev, only he can help us." Yudhishthir said, and his brothers obeyed.

Taking care of a child was easy, or wait- let's rephrase it, taking care of boy was easy, being fathers to several boys, Prativindhya, Sutasoma, Shrutkarma, Shatanika, Shrutsena, Yaudheya, Ghatotkach, Sargava, Iravan, Babruvahana, Abhimanyu, Niramitra, and Suhotra,.
And Yudhisthir had some extra experience as he became the father figure to his brothers at a young age.

But they did not know what of a girl? She would grow up, have periods, be an ethereal beauty, and curious ones like Panchali? She would learn, well, probably everything;
And that was everything went down for the Pandavas.
They felt lost without her, she was their guiding light, helped them through everything.

She saved them from Dyut, and even after that. She forgave them and even shared their pain by taking the forest life along with them.

Draupadi had done a lot for them, perhaps it was now their turn to do something.

Two hours, merely two hours, and the five Pandavas were literally sobbing; of course Draupadi was a fussy child, and her husbands had no one why she was crying.

They made funny faces, which was horribly monstrous in her opinion; They danced, and literally frightened her as she felt the huge thumps. They did everything, except feeding her.

Had she been a grown up woman, she would scolded them perfectly about feeding a baby, but alas, she was the hungry kid.

She felt being passed from one arm to another, and man! a hungry child was a demon.
Yudhisthir, under normal circumstances, would have tried feeding a child, but given the disaster now; he could barely think anything straight.

"Let me help you Pandu Putro," They heard Krishna standing next to them, he took the child in his arms and gave a smile. His enchanting smile paused Draupadi from crying, but only a for a minute before she felt hunger again and wobbled tears.

Krishna chuckled and sat down on the ground, "Bring me some milk, in a bowl with a spoon," He ordered and Nakul inside the hut; bought things as Krishna requested.

Krishna started feeding her milk, and she drank happily. It tasted wonders, and why wouldn't it be? It was Krishna who was feeding her afterall.
Heck, even Halahal would taste best from his hands.

"She was hungry," Arjun concluded, and Krishna nodded.

"Vasudev, you know everything. Can you tell us what happened to Panchali, and how we can bring her back?" Yudhisthir asked.

"I have both answer Brother. She became a child due a maya of a demon, and demon ran after as he didn't expect someone to actually turn into a child. Answering your second question, she would grow, like normal kids.
She never had a childhood, so now she can have one,"

Only Krishna seemed excited and the five looked traumatized at his words. Krishna smirked, this was the hardest test of Pandavas life, hard, yet funny for others.
