It was now a common thing, for four Pandavas to be busy with something and only one present to take care of Shubhangini.

Honestly, neither of the brothers minded, but at the back of their minds, they were worried about they will teach her things when she would get older? How will they manage time?

Alas, it was a question only time would answer.

As for present, it was Bheem, the second son of Pandu, taking care of her majesty.

Bheem, the weakest among his brothers, in terms of resistance towards Shubhangini's cute face, would do anything if she even thought about it.

And today, hell would be set lose, if only Shubhangini thought of so.

"Veem," She said, a little improvement from 'eem' to 'veem'

Like a very attentive caretaker, he carefully looked at her, trying to avoid her lotus shaped eyes. "Yes Shubhangini." He asked in a small voice, which admittedly was the best impression of a kid among all five of them.

"Banbu" She said, working really hard on her vocals.

Bheem smiled whole heartedly, she was the only reason of his smile nowadays. He passed her a small bamboo stick as she had asked.

The little girl held the stick firmly, and started chewing. For a baby of a year, she was getting her teeth a bit late, but that wasn't unusual.

Due to her teething, she was constantly high on annoyance and would scream and yell and cry at the least important events. And Pandavas had to work hard to calm her.

It seemed like they had no worries but of Shubhangini. It felt like heaven to them, a light in darkness.

Bheem, the strongest of his brothers had the body of iron, but a heart of gold. And that heart melted away when he saw Shubhangini smiling, these days she rarely smiled, those teeth did hurt coming out.

"Veem banbu." She repeated like a chant while licking and biting as hard as possible.

Bheem nodded, "Yes you have Bamboo, who gave bamboo? That's right Bheem did." He said, rather proudly.

Shubhangini nodded smiling back her 'Veem'

Seeing the innocence on her face made Bheem wonder what would have happened if she hadn't been turned to kid, just how easier things were now, it would be complete opposite- chaotic and filled with misery.

"Bannu." Shubhangini tried another time, almost succeeding. Bheem smiled at her attempt, he looked at the small bamboo stick that she had completely chewed and extracted the pulp. Carefully, he took that and handed another.

His wife, however had some different thoughts. As she looked around, getting distracted, she noticed her Amun walking around, and the most important thing was the Gandiva in his hand. She looked at the mighty bow with pure amazement and sheer excitement.

Bheem was surprised when she did not take the bamboo stick, he followed her gaze and saw the Archery weapon Shubhangini was eyeing, in the same way many girls eyed his poor little brothers, Arjun and Nakul, whenever they went out- with pure obsession.

Bheem shuddered, the women when obsessed with anything, were dangerous;

He just took another look and knew, he had to distract her from her newfound obsession.

At instance he scooped her up and rushed to the kitchens, he placed her in a basket, yes a basket, and sat near the stove. "How is a good girl?" He asked looking at Shubhangini. Though her heart was still at Gandiva, she beamed and giggled at her favourite question.

"Yes you are." Bheem cooed. He was melting sugar and placing the melted sugar in form of a bow on a mud plate.

As he completed making a few, he handed one to Shubhangini who adorned the delicious taste the moment she put it in her mouth.

"Veem Veem." She kept repeating, laughing and smiling throughout. Sugar did help in sooothing her teething issue. Sugar soft coated the areas where new teeth would be coming, giving an instant soothing affect.

But one fact that Bheem cared not much about was, the amount of sugar he to her was not suitable for the baby.

Shubhangini's sick days coming soon!!!

Imagine Yudi Bhaiyya scolding his fully grown brother and lecturing him about how to handle children like this:
Y- The eldest grandchild pf Maharaj Pandu was your son, and yet you don't know that babies shouldn't be given this much sugar
B- bUt GhAtOtKaCh WaS bOrN FuLLy RiGhT?
Y- What about Sutasoma and Sargava *demands angrily*
B- Panchali used to take care *sobs like a kid*

*Meanwhile Arjun whispering to twins- Bhrata Bheem is our first kid, and Shubhangini second*

IMPORTANT NOTE:

I am changing this book's title. Why?
Initially this book was supposed to be to four or five chapter story and THE END.
But now I have full ideas of how Shubhangini will grow up, be an Empress, fall in love (again) get married (again) and a whole long storyline.
And thus the title isn't suitable.

The new title will be "Dancing Flames"

The new title will be "Dancing Flames"
