Chapter by vedvaani's sister 🤩
Shubhangini, satisfied with the answers, agreed. But one thing was changed inside her, she wanted to know more and the only thing that was her passage to the truth was Brahmastra.
She was determined to learn, learn Brahmastra and ask her questions.
She was on a few years old, but she understood one thing, 'To focus and learn'
Shubhangini started to learn everything, with Pandavas teaching her there was no lack in education and learning.
Her questions were endless, but she always looked out of box. She dug deeper till she found the answer she was looking for.
She didn't depend on anyone to find them but read herself, tried things herself. She worked herself up to find things she wanted.
Not only was she outstanding in her education, but she also in many things. She observed the Pandavas and understood the things of day-to-day living.
Things like the dried grass is hard to sleep, but it is also the one that doesn't cause any pain in the back.
Like boiling some leaves would give them best taste and colour while some would get smaller and lack the nutrients.
She grew up as tall, dark skinned child, but one thing was surprising.
Panchali had long straight hairs while Shubhangini's were curly, making them look short.
Shubhangini had difficulty in maintaining her hairs, she would often clutch then angrily and scream wondering when they would be tamed by an hair brush.
Fortunately, for her, Bheem had experience of such hairs, courtesy of the unconquered hairs of unconquerable Arjun.
"Bheem, can you teach me this style? Of four partition?" She asked him, touching her beautiful braid.
Bheem nodded and opened her hairs, slowly showing her how he made, and made her hairs again.
What the second son of Pandu did not notice was the grin on her face, Nakul who was standing nearby laughed realizing that she was merely playing with him.
She had already understood the styling, yet she made him spent another hour to calm down her mess of hairs.
"Why are you laughing?" Bheem questioned his brother who pointed at Shubhangini's grin.
Bheem stared at her, "You mischievous little girl." Saying so he stood up and Shubhangini, with the grace of deer ran out with Bheem a few steps behind her.
Arjun and Sahdev who were cutting the dry wood pieces looked at Shubhangini and Bheem, the two children of their family running, they sighed. This was a daily routine.
With Krishna's frequent visits, ideas and encouragement, Shubhangini was even more mischievous than Krishna at her age.
Everyday she would prank ome of them and run around, while none of them actually ran in their speed to catch her, they would still run slow and act like catching her.
One amazing thing was, that her pranks never exceeded any limit. She knew when and whom to prank, and how much.
Never did she do something that would disappoint her guardians. For someone of her age, she was quite more mature and wise.
"Arjun, save me." Without thinking much, Shubhangini ran and jumped in his arms, Arjun held her with his left hand while continued his work with his right one.
"Arjun, leave her, today I will teach her a lesson." Bheem looked angry, and raised a brow at her.
Sahdev didn't look up but merely chuckled saying, "And then she will make one face and you will be the one to feed her delicious things forgetting all about now."
That was the truth, Bheem sighed, he could never actually be angry with her. He turned away sadly and took a few steps in the opposite direction when he felt a small weight on his shoulder.
He turned and saw that very conveniently Arjun had come near him while cutting wood pieces and Shubhangini was able to jump from his shoulder to his.
"You little girl," He pinched her nose and cheeks softly while laughing.
"Come on everyone, lunch is ready." Yudhishthir walked out of their kitchen hut and called everyone.
Bheem, with a food lover in his hands ran while the three brothers kept their things on the side and came to the Kitchen.
Shubhangini had already bought out plates while Bheem and Yudhishthir bought the freshly made food in hot pots.
The six of them sat down, and prayed to Maa Annapurna before starting their meal.
Yudhishthir served everyone, and lastly Shubhangini. As the food was limitless till she was served.
Yudhishthir emptied the last remaining food in Shubhangini's plate and gestured them to start eating.
Shubhangini was the first one of pick a morsel of food but before she could put it in her mouth, they heard a loud voice, "Bhiksham Dehi,"
