chapter 9

I woke up with the biggest headache ever. I tried to get up but my head hurted every time I try to get up. I stood up carefully and softly. I couldn't move, my head was in pain.

Me: MOM!

I could hear her running.

Mom: what, what is it honey.

Me: I can't move, my head hurts like a bitch.

Tears started to roll down my cheeks. They were tears of pain. I couldn't ever take a step forward. My mom help me, we walked slowly.

Mom: how much does it hurt?

Me: mom, I'm crying. I'm in pain. It hurts like a bitch. I told you that.

Mom: right. Let's take you to a hospital.

I put my slippers on. I wouldn't be able to take a shower and get pretty. Pretty for what? I know for a fact that I'm not going to school. I got to the stairs. Oh shit, here comes the hard part. I moved my foot and put it on the step. My head felt worst, more tears came down.

I made it down the stairs with my mom's help. I had my hand on my head. When we got outside I had my mom walked me to the car. That's when Matt came out side.

Matt: Lexi! Are you okay?

Mom: please don't yell. Her head, every time she moves she gets dizzy and her head starts to hurt.

Matt: can I please go, I want to be there for her.

Mom: I don't want your mom being mad if she finds out you didn't got to school. I think it's best if you just go to school.

Matt: well okay, bye Lex see you later or tomorrow, I guess.

I waved at him and he waved back at me. I got in the car and bucked up.

*Matt's POV *

When I got to school all I could think about is, if Lexi is okay and what happened to her. The first one I need to tell was, Riley. She is back at school. Getting more attention than ever. For all the boys of course. I saw Riley talking to this guy so I walked up to her.

Me: Riley!

She looked at me and smiled. I guess she said bye to the boy she was talking to because she said something and he left.

Riley: hey Matt, what's up?

Me: Lexi is in the hospital, I guess. She is really dizzy. She can't move or she will get dizzy.

Riley: why are you telling me this?

Me: well because your her best friend.

Riley: well, I don't know about that. I fell like we're not friends. We haven't talked in a while and she hasn't bothered calling me.

Me: so, should you let that stop you from being friends with Lexi? No it shouldn't, you've been friends with her for so long.

Riley: you right. I'm gonna go visit her. I don't care if I get into trouble.

She waved goodbye before heading out the door. I walked to my locker and saw Nash and the rest at his.

Me: Nash, I'm surprised you have the balls to tell me you sorry for hurting Lexi and then you go and try to hurt her! You people are dick heads!

People started staring at us.

Nash: she pretty much deserved it. She can't keep her mouth shut.

Me: hurt her and you will regret it.

Nash: oh so we can't touch your stupid girlfriend? Well, I don't care.

Me: you can't keep your mouth shut either!
