Chapter 20

-Matt's POV-

It was about 1pm. Lexi was still sleeping which was actually okay with me. I want to take her out to a good restaurant. I grabbed my laptop and search up restaurant near by. After all that, I decide to take her to Carbone's, knowing, its her favorite restaurant . I feel someone wrap there arms around me. Its Lexi. I close my laptop and turn to face her.

"Morning beautiful." I kiss her forehead. "Morning, I'm hungry." Lexi lays her head on my chest. "You can wait. its for a good reason. Go take a shower and dress fancy and I'll be back in 2 hours I'm gonna go home and get dress." I grab my stuff. "Ok, see you later baby." Lexi says a bit confused. I kiss her and leave.

-Lexi's POV-

I hopped in the shower and washed down and then washed my hair. I hopped out the shower. I grabbed my tooth brush, put toothpaste on it and started to brush my teeth. Why did Matt want me to get dressed fancy? Like I want to eat, I can't wait like 3 hours. I finished brushing my teeth and wrapped my hair in a towel. I walked to my room and grabbed my outfit. it was a fancy crop top and long skirt. The top ended right above my belly bottom. It was black with lace long sleeves. The skirt started under my belly bottom. It was a black long skirt that had some lace at the top. To top that off, I put on some black stilettos. I did my make up after. I did a simple wing and put mascara on then did my brows and lipstick.

I check the time, its 4. Matt should be on his way. I make sure i have everything. I get a text message

Matt: outside beautiful.
Me: i'm on my way.

I grab my purse and walk outside. Matt is leaned against the car door and has the passenger seat door open. "You look gorgeous baby." He smiles at me. I smile back.

"Alright, I'm gonna need you close your eyes." Matt says after pulling over and looks at me. "Why and why did you pull over?" I'm confused. "I pulled over beacuse knowing you, you are going to ask a lot of questions, like now. Meaning by the type your try to we would have been there. And its a surprise, I wanna surprise your baby. Just please." Matt smiles. "Ugh fine." I smile slighty and close my eyes.

Matt starts to pull off right before something hard pushes the car causing my top body to fly frontwards. I open my eyes, everything blurry. I blinked multiple times before my eyes start to recalculate what just happened. I look around and get out the car. Theres broken glass everywhere. Tears pour down my eyes. I hear police sirens. I check to see who the person was. It was Nash. Flashbacks started happening, all I could see was him and the rest of the boys hurting me, bullying me. Buts the worst part was, I couldn't unsee all that.

The flashbacks wouldn't go away. I could also see me brusied and hurt, wristed all cut up, Riley always being there to help me. But she wasnt here now. Tears ran down my face as it all finished. Cops ran up to the me and the cars. They tried communicating with me but no matter how hard I tried, no words were coming out. I see ambulances come. The street starts to get closed. I cried harder as I see Matt. Nash's voice was in my head repeating, "this is all your fault."

"Hey hun, were you with him?" This lady says to me, pointing to Matt. I nodded, she wrapped a blanket around me and walked me to the ambulance they put him in. "Can you tell me what happened?" The lady asked. I stayed silent. "Its okay hun, I get it your worried and you dont wanna talk." She doesn't get it, I can't talk, its like I'm trapped speechless, no sound it coming out of me. "Lets start off easy. Do you know this person?" She says pointing to Nash." Tears come down harder then ever, angry fills me. I nodded.

Im waiting for the doctor to tell me whats the deal with Matt. The police ran some test on Nash, he wasn't DUI (driving under the influence.) They got Nash back up. He remembers everything that happened. To me, I don't know if thats a bad thing or a good thing. They said that he said that he didn't mean anything, he didn't even know who it was, which I believe him. Only beacuse I haven't even seen the car myself, it wasn't even messed up, or had a scratch. But now, its all fucked up. The doctor calls me. I walk up to him. "He's fine, just had to give him a few stitches and he's bruised up a bit. I just have to run some paper work and he'll be good to leave." The doctor says as I enter the room and he leave.

"Babe?" Matt says. "Yes?" Its been the first word I said it a while." I'm so sorry. I wanted to take you to Carbone's as a surprise but I didn't know this was gonna happen." Matt said, i could see sadness in his eyes."No, its okay its much better knowing your okay than going there." I sat next to him.

"I love you baby."
"I love you too."

Hey loves, its been a while, like always. Anywaus im sorry for the short chapter. I think ima start having shorts chapter, not beacuse im being lazy. Its bc i want to upload more so i could spread it all out and upload more. Also, school and stuff. Anyws yeah.
