Chapter 22

I frooze. I didn't know what to do. Could I actaully be pregnant? My head clouded up with thoughts. I had just gotten of the phone with my mom. Yet, those same words repeated in my head.

The front door opened and Matt came in. "Hey, you feeling better?" Matt sat next to me and wrapped his arm around me. 'I could be pregnant with your child' is what I wanted to say but there was no way I was going to say that. "Yeah." Is all I could manage to say. I laid back on him. "That's good." Matt put his hand on my arm, which was on my stomach, which just caused chills to spread all over my body. "How was school?" I smile slightly at him. "It was alright, yet some people saw you exit the school and started to ask me question." Matt rolled his eyes. "Well, that's people for you, always asking question." I laugh a bit.

After Matt left to go home, I went upstairs and called Riley.

"Hey, what's up?"
"Riley, are you alone, and please if you're not alone I need you to be alone."
"I'm alone, is something wrong?"
"Remember how I was acting earlier because I didn't feel well?"
"Yes..."
"Well I was talking to my mom and I told her how I've been feeling and well, she said she felt the same way in the beginning of her pregnancy with me. I'm scared, what if I'm actually pregant?"
"Lexi, calm down, it's okay. Listen I'll go out and buy you test, and if its negative, you have nothing to worry about. If its positive, I'm not saying you have something to worry about but we will figure out everything thing from there."
"You're the best. And when you buy a test, buy like 3 different ones."
"Okay, I'll buy them right now. I should be there in 30."
Riley hung up and with that I felt much better. She's always knew how to help me and what I needed to hear and not hear even it that thing wasn't true.

I tried to relax but half and hour flow by way to fast. Riley was knocking at my door. "Up to my bathroom, now." I rushed her. She passed me the first pregnancy test. She really did get 3. She left and I did what I had to do. I left the test faced down in the bathroom and walked out. "Do you want to take the rest or wait." Riley looked at me. "I think I'll wait." I wasn't ready for this and Matt?? He wasn't ready either.

"Matt really cares for you, you know. I'm pretty sure he'll stick with you still. Well, he better or there's going to be issues." Riley crosses her arms, I couldn't help but laugh. It was time to check the test. I walked into the bathroom, Riley following right behind me. "Listen, if that comes out positive, just know that I'm here for you and so will Matt be." Riley smiled a bit.

I grabbed the test and flipped it over wasting no little time. The test came back positive. "Its positive." I sat down the test. "Are you sure you want to do the other ones?" Riley started to grabbed to second test but I shook my head. "It's okay. But thank you for being here." I smile at her. She got down infront of me and hugged me. "Anytime."

"When we're alone of course I'm going to tell him but I don't know when." I laid on my bed. "I think the sooner the better, but its whatever makes you feel good." Riley starts to pack up. "Do you want to keep these..?" Riley handed me the bag. "Why not." I laugh while taking the bag and put it into a basket. I walk Riley out. "If you need anything, you know to give me a call of course." Riley hugs me, I hug back. "Bye." I smile and wave. "Bye." She walls away and I close the door.

I go back up to my room and grab a long shirt and shirts and then hop in the shower. Evrything thing seems so unreal. I couldn't take my mind of it but I had to so I shoved that thought into the back of my head.

After getting out, I getted dressed and enter my room. I combed my hair out and hopped into bed. I've stressed enough today. I soon start to drift off to sleep.
