Chapter 27

*2 months later*

With a month left of school, prom was coming up. Actually, who really knew how long it school was going to last because it had snowed it a lot in the winter causing so much snow days. Matt wanted to take me to prom badly, but I, not even the slightest bit wanted to go. Last years prom was awful. I'd ask my self how worse can it get, it got worse. Never ask yourself that. Its only going to get worse.

"Baby." Matt called me for the tenth time.

"What Matthew?" I turned my head towards him. He made a face. He preferred Matt.

"Can we go now?" He pouts. Ah, to school. The best place ever. Not.

"Matt, you're 17, stop acting like a little kid." I started to walk to the passenger side of the car.

"Right." He laughed, put his hand on my stomach and kissed me.

Three months along so far. Thats how fast time has been going. As Matt and I reached school, I got stares and whispers, as if they didn't all know already. Once Riley's eyes met mine, she ran over and smiled widely.

"Have you noticed how hot Shawn is?" She looked back at him. He smirked at her when he realized she was staring at her.

"No. I don't really pay attention to how attractive people get." I laughed at the large smile that was still in her face.

"Yeah really? What about Matt? All I'm saying is they look really good."

I shake my head. "Of course I've realized that, I'm with Matt most of the time. He's fucking hot." I laugh loudly.

Taking about him. He walked over with a smile on his face. "What are you smiling about?" I looked up at him.

"Can I not be happy?" He pouts. "Thats not what I meant. I meant like why now are you happy."

He smiles again. "Because your happy, and not yelling at me or crying." He releases a tiny laugh.

"He's right, you yell a lot." Riley agreed with Matt.  "Well, deal with it." I rolled my eyes at them both.

I'm actually extremely happy. My senior year was coming to an end and well I didn't have to see half these people again. We graduate and leave the school. Some go off to college, some, well they just go off and do nothing.

"Bye, I got to go to class." I hugged Riley and kissed Matt on the cheek.

Off to my homeroom class that wasn't Mr. McCarthy. That wasn't going to get old. The boys complain to me all the time about him. He finds someway to make class a living hell. I laughed to myself as I saw people enter his class and weren't happy about it.

At lunch Shawn and Riley were keeping to themselves. They were talking and laughing.

"Thats a lot on your tray." Matt burst out laughing as he seen the food on my tray. I shrugged and stuffed my face.

"What are you wearing for prom?" Matt asked, he whispered close to my ear. "I don't want to go." I pouted. "But like, you're going to go, for me." Matt had a toothy smile.

"Fine but I don't know what I'm wearing." I sigh. "I'm going to make you pop out." Riley jumped in. I groaned at the thought of being that visible.

For years Riley wanted me to me to pop out from everyone. Not change myself, but in her words "show off what I got." Which till this day I still don't know what she meant.

It was a great day that a didn't want to end because then it would be one day closer to Prom and I was not looking forward to it. Something was going to happened, I felt it deep down and I couldn't ignore it.

Long overdue chapter and its short. I'm sorry !! Don't hate me. But next chapter is prom and because I don't really feel like describing everything, you'll just see Lexi's dress as a picture.
