A Famous Divergent

Chapter 7

Tris POV

I spent the whole Free Period/Lunch in the cafeteria with Cam and the rest of the guys. They are all so funny and I missed Robert so much. It turns out I have Homeroom, P.E and Music with all of them, Honors Math with Danny, Honors Social Studies with the twins (cast of the twins will be Ethan Dolan as Garret and Grayson Dolan as Gavin) and Honors Science with Robert and Mason. So right now I'm stuck in Honors Social Studies with Garret to my left and Gavin to my right. At least they're making Social Studies fun.

The bell rings and we're all dismissed. The twins and I part ways as they leave to head to their other classes.

I get to Room 132 and wait for the devil to come and yes...I'm talking about Ms.Matthews. Robert and Mason arrive before the she-devil and sit next to me. Robert to my right and Mason to my left. Just as the bell rings Ms.Matthews arrives and starts talking about random sh*t I already know so I start thinking about an answer to why does Four always sneaks glances at me or looks at me?

Does he really think I don't notice? Dude, you're not as ninja as you think when it comes to looking at me. Is he searching for a way to bully me again? I hope not for his own good. I was trained for self protection. I can take him down in 10 seconds or less. He's cute and his eyes are mesmerizing. Okay I should stop thinking of him like that.

"Ms.Prior would you care to tell me the answer to this question?" Ms.Matthews says snapping me out of my daze. I look at the board and read the question that's written there. "What is it that makes diseases caused by viruses and bacteria hard to treat?"

"Influenza viruses and others continually change over time, usually by mutation. This change enables the virus to evade the immune system of its host so that people are susceptible to influenza virus infection throughout their lives. Bacteria mutate in the same way and can also become resistant if overtreated with antibiotics." I say. Ms.Matthews looks at me with some frustration and tells me my answer is correct and she goes back to talking about uninteresting things.

I feel someone nudge me and I see Mason. "Nice answer, nose." He said. 'Nose' is a nickname for nerds or knowledge keepers in Divergent VR School. I glare at him and step on his foot that's next to me. He glares back and then he cracks a smile."Now you own me a foot massage." He says.

"In your dreams, peasant." I say with a British accent.

"Hey, I want to be in the conversation." Said Robert from my right.

"We don't speak to slaves. Now go and listen to Ms.Matthews."

"So it's gonna be like that? Okay. You'll be dreaming of me later, Mason." Robert said while flipping his 'very long' hair.

We spent the rest of the period talking and occasionally listening (for a few seconds) to Ms.Matthews. The bell rang and we went to P.E.

I got into the girls locker room and changed into black Nike shorts, black and white tribal sports bra, yellow neon socks, black Nike shoes and a white crop top.

I go out to the gym and sit on a bench alone waiting for everybody to come. Christina comes and sits next to me. "Hey Tris. I'm going to your house after school. We have to read those letters! Maybe the rest of the gang could come." She said.

"Uhm...okay. I'll just text you the address."I told her.

"No need to do that. Your address is all over internet." Chris said calmly.
