My head ached and my vision was trying to adjust to the darkness of the room but only straining my eyes

The door creaked open and the candles lit up I looked around the room noticing the fire nation symbol everywhere and the color was red everything was red

"I see that your awake" an old voice mumbled

"No shit locking someone in a room and leaving them there is the thing they would like to go to sleep with stuck in their head nope sorry i forgot you kill and kill and kill and kill even the Avatar left because he was ashamed of the fire nation" I snorted looking at the old man

"Sorry about my nefew he's a bit snappy at times but I can asure you that when you get to know him you'll enjoy his company" the old man laughed at my comment

"Wow your not so bad to talk to" I laughed with him

"I'm Genaral Iroh and your name is?"

"Element Elizabeth Pompeii" I stood up brushing the dirt of my pants and shirt

"You mean the daughter of Dalis Pompeii?"

"Yes you knew him?"

"Yes we both faught at the 600 day siege of ba sing se"

"Well he's dead"

"Oh, I'm sorry how long?"

"I dunno about four years now" I looked at my fingers counting how long "yeah four years um in a day"

"Well I have good news"

"Yes?" I smiled hoping he'd say I was going back home

"I was able to convince my nefew that you could stay in a bigger,better room with a window and everything" he smiled at me

"Oh thanks" I give him a fake smile "first may i meet your nefew?" I asked softly

"Yes yes come, I'll bet he's on deck training" he smiled at me putting his arm out so I could take it and I gladly did smiling

We walked onto the deck and my crimson eyes adjusting to the new found light. Looking around I see a boy the same boy from the beach back home

Home as soon as I thought about home I felt sick

Iroh looked at me worry corsing through his viens and I could see it

"Are you ok?" He asked I leaned more on him more

"Yeah I just thought of..." I couldn't say it or I'd cry and I need to be strong

"Just don't think about it you'll enjoy it here with me and everyone" Iroh smile

"Thank you Genaral Iroh"

"Please call me uncle" he smiled a toothy smile

"UNCLE WHY HAVE YOU BROUGHT THE PRISONER OUT OF HER ROOM" yelled the prince

"ZUKO SHE IS A GUEST" Uncle Iroh yelled back at him "plus she wanted to meet you" He smiled looking at me

"Hello I'm Element Elizabeth Pompeii" I put my hand out and he just stared at me

"I'm prince Zuko" he emphasizing prince

"Hi can I see my new room please uncle?" I looked down at the old man

"Of coarse" he flashed Zuko a look and I swear i saw him flinch and become slightly afraid of Iroh

"Thank you uncle" I turned to look at Zuko and bowed"my lord" I stood up and took a hold of uncle Iroh's arm
