After an hour of crying someone picked me up and took me to my warm bed

As they set me down I whimpered and grabbed ahold of their shirt "don't go please I don't want to loose everyone around me" I whispered to the person that was carrying me

"You won't loose me anytime soon your stuck with me" once I heard his voice I knew who it was

Zuko...

Why would he lift me to bed he's always trying to rip my head off but something seems different

"Thank you Prince Zuko"

"Please while we're alone call me Zuko"

"Yes Zuko" I mumble opening my crimson eyes to meet golden eyes "your eyes are ama-" I didn't finish because I fell asleep

But before falling into a deep sleep I heard "wake up in hour supper will be ready" before the door creaked close

"Mama where are you?" I call out looking around

"BOO" yelled my mother scaring me

"You scared me" I giggled

*clang, clang, clang*

"Honey I'm home" I heard my fathers slired words

"Hide Ella" my mother pushed me up stairs

When I got up stairs I heard my mother shreak
I sprinted down the stairs four at a time

My mother was lying on the ground

"You hurt mama" I screamed flames erupted from my hands

The wooden floors were now black from pure heat

I shoot up my body in a cold sweat my Long hair spread out on the pillow my crimson eyes shooting around the room remembering where I was I got up

My pail feet touching the warm ground

I looked in the small peice of mirror checking my apperance before walking out off the room and up to the mess hall.

Spotting a seat at the back of the mess hall

As I was walking to the back of the hall I felt a tug on my sleeve and now I was walking in the other direction

I looked up to see Zuko pulling me up to the front of the hall

I look to see that I had a seat in between Zuko and Uncle Iroh

"What are you doing you'll loose your respect from you crew" I tryed to pull away but his grip became tighter so I pulled harder

As I pulled the last time he pulled me into his chest

"They're my crew they always need to respect me no matter what choices I make" he whispered in my ear I shivered at how close he was to me "now come" he pulled me up and sat me down

We sat down and started to eat. I looked over at zuko and saw he was standing

"Ahem" he cleared his throat "now our water tribe guest is to be treated with respect if you don't well there will be consequences" he announced watching all his soldiers

"But she's a Water Tribe scum" that was the last straw

My hands erupted into flames and I got up slamming my hands on the table

"YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU HAVE JUST DONE" I yelled across the hall as the soldier sat there afraid to take a move
