Dinner came and I still didn't want to dinner but if I didn't show up Uncle Iroh would have a fit

"Come on Element lets go eat dinner I hear that the cook made pumpkin soup with fresh bread and butter" Ari smiled

"Pumpkin soup is my favorite soup" I smiled walking to the mess hall and seeing Mai and Zuko kissing "I'll be back" I smiled as I walked to uncle Iroh "After dinner Uncle Iroh you gotta pay up" I smiled because I startle Mai and Zuko making them bit down on each others lips

"Ahhh yes Young Element" he laughed a hearty laugh

"I'm going to sit with my friends' like to join me uncle?" I smiled at him

"Would they like an old man like me to sit with them?"

"Oh couse you can tell us about the adventures you had with my farther" I smiled as he came and sat with us

"Genaral Iroh!" Ari smile at the sight of the old man walking with me

"Tell me a story about a man that is gone; my farther please?" I asked afraied he'd say no

"Oh yes well there was the time in the 600 day siege of ba sing se we were out collecting fire wood when we came across a nest of plattabear eggs so we collected them and when we got back to the camp we had brought an angry mother Plattabear into the camp so we lost the eggs and we had to eat turtleducks instead. In the mean time your farther was heating the fire up and somehow he singed his eyebrows off" we all erupted into laughter while I shook my head in dissapointment

"My farther was never a smart one at all he was able to set his jacket on fire one night" I sighed "after farther was kicked out of the army he became an alchoholic and he would go out and not come back till morning" tears started to sting my eyes "please excuse me" I smiled as I got up and walked out to the upper level to see the stars

I let out a long sigh at all the drunken memories of my farther and the one night he wasn't drunk he burnt to death because of me pulling my hair over my shoulders I softly tug on it to remind me what he use to do as he braided my hair

"Come on Zuko lets see the stars" I heard Mai's voice ring out into the cool wind

"Ok I'm coming" he laughed as I blended into the shadows

"Zuko I have a question; what the hell is that water tribe girl doing on the ship?" She snapped

"It was a traid" he smiled at he and she pulled him into a kiss, his golden eyes flickered to the shadows where I stood.

I held my breath and moved trying not to be seen but there wasn't a chance in hell I was going to be unnoticed.

He pulled away from the kiss and stuttered to Mai "I uh should get to bed.." and with that he disappeared
