Blaze made his way to school while romanticizing what the year would be like. Top priority popularity, of course, he was already well known, but this year he was headed for the quarterback spot. He had already secured the quarterback's spot last year, so he knew this year was his. He planned for the second year in a row and this time to break the touchdown record. That was going to be easy; he could already see himself on the field. The chilly September air making his breath visible, while his heart pumped with adrenaline. He could hear the crowds cheering their applause for yet another win on his hands. His absolutely favorite part of his falls.

Then almost as fun as the late game nights, would be the ones spent with his friends, roaming about town aimlessly wreaking havoc and having fun. He could hear the bit too loud laughs that filled the dark empty streets. The group of his favorite people altogether having the time of their lives enjoying all that life has to offer. He could already feel the sense of invincibility that he always felt around them.

As much as he wants to keep dreaming of the future to come, he found himself already at the corner of Phoenix Drop High School. As he got up to the entrance of the school, he already spotted an old friend. Running up to him, he cried out,

"Hey, Fin you still go here? Shouldn't you have graduated like 5 years ago?"

"Very funny dumbass this is my last year stuck with you losers, then god."

"Aww, you are so going to miss me, you'll be crying all alone in college, begging me to come visit," Blaze retorted.

"Maybe but at least I won't miss the trouble you drag me into, if it weren't for you I could've gotten out last year" Fin affirmed.

"Sure, Fin, it's all my fault. Now have you seen the other guys, it has been a whole summer and I have a whole list of people I need to bother."

"Yeah, I saw other guys walk in already, Laurence and Dante, come on they couldn't have gotten far."

After a too-short reunion with his friends and the ring of the late bell, Blaze reluctantly went off to first period. The day went just as he expected new teachers, faces, and assignments. By the third period, he had run into about five lost freshmen.
