It was the day. Jessie's leaving me for a year.
"Babe, I snuck some stuff in your suitcase that way I'm with you all the time." I said.
"I love you, Vengeance." She said.
We walked in the airport carrying her bags. I hated doing this, it hurt more than that fire.
"Listen, if you ever need something, please call me at any time of the day I don't care what time it is I'll be there." I said.
She smiled and gave me a long hug, eventually started crying. Her plane leaves in 10 minutes.
"I don't want you to miss your flight, okay?" I said, giving her the rest of the bags.
"Okay." She said, still crying.
"I love you Jessie." I said.
"I love you too Zacky." She said.
I gave her one final kiss before she walked away crying. I walked back to the car, feeling bad that this time she wouldn't be the one coming with me.
I saw her plane leave and started crying. I'm gonna miss her.
I texted Matt to see if I could come to his house and chill. I need to practice for our concert in August anyway.
Me: Yo dude. Mind if I come chill and practice for a bit?
Matt: For sure. Jessie already gone?
Me: Yeah unfortunately. I miss her already man. Just saw her plane leave.
Matt: It's okay dude, a year will go by fast.
Me: For sure, be there in 30.
I put my phone down and drove to Matt's house to practice, I loved playing with the gang. It takes away lotsa stress. I felt better about Jessie. I know she'll do great.
After a few hours of practicing I headed home to make dinner. I got a text from Jessie. I'm so glad.
Jessie: Hey handsome. I'm finally in Arizona. It doesn't feel complete without you.
Me: I know, I know. I miss you. Where you staying for the night?
Jessie: For now I'm staying in a hotel until college actually starts, which is on Wednesday.
Me: Okay. I'm gonna head to bed, I love you so much. Sleep well.
Jessie: I'll try, I left one of my hoodies there for you so you can sleep tonight.
Me: Thank you.
Jessie: I love you.
Me: I love you too.
I finally fall asleep after about an hour of not bein' able to.
