Chapter 6: The Good Day.

The ghost had been gone for about a month now, and I'm finally off my crutches but still living with Jessie because my parents have been fighting. They also hate me so I'm staying away.

Jessie was out getting Christmas presents for her parents and she texted me when I was just done showering.

Jessie: Hey babe! You feeling ok?

Me: Yeah babe, I am. You?

Jessie: This Christmas shopping has me nuts. Want anything while I'm gone?

Me: No thank you. 

Jessie: Okay, I love you.

Me: I love you too.

I had gotten ready and Matt knocked on the front door.

"Hey what's up M?" I asked.

"Hey Zacky, just wanted to come and hangout. That cool?" He asked.

"Yeah for sure, Jessie's almost home so lets hang in the garage." I said.

"You love her that much don't you?" He asked as we walked to the garage.

"Of course I do. She will forever have a place in my heart, she's been there with me for 2 months already." I said.

"I get it. I done blocked Val. I don't need anyone, just my boys." He said.

"For sure, I need Jessie and my boys, Jessie first." I said.

Jessie pulled into the driveway with bags all in her car.

"Babe will you come help me? You too Matt?" She asked.

"Yes darlin' I'm coming." I said.

"Sweetie you really got all that for me and your dad?" Toni asked as we walked into the kitchen.

"Some of it is for Zacky's birthday tomorrow, I went all out!" Jessie said.

"Jessie, you serious?" I asked smiling.

"Yes." Jessie said, she had that cute serious type of face.

"She's a keeper man." Matt said.

"Yes. Indeed." I said.

"I'm gonna clean this all up then meet with you guys in the garage." Jessie said, giving me a kiss.

"Oooooo..." Matt said.

"Shut up Matt." I said.

We sat in the garage waiting for Jessie to be done with cleaning.

"Hey you know Jimmy has a girlfriend now." Matt said.

"No for real?" I asked. That is Jimmy's first girlfriend.

"Yeah, her names Kelley." Matt said.

"Bro that's Jessie's last name." I said.

"What about my last name?" Jessie asked walking towards me.

"Jimmy's girlfriend's name is Kelley." I said.

"Damn. First girlfriend's name is my last name. I feel so special." She said.

"You're always special." I said.

She gave me a kiss which turned into making out.

"Okay go get a room!" Matt said.

"Jealous?" Jessie asked.

"Nope, I got my eyes on someone." Matt said.

"Didn't you just say you don't need anyone?" I asked.

"I lied. It's a girl named Charlie." He said.

"Oo Charlie! She's sweet. She's one of my best friends." Jessie said.

"Yeah, we've been talking... I kissed her once too..." Matt said.

"You definitely gotta ask her out man." I said.

"You're right. When though?" Matt asked.

"You can invite her over to my house and Zacky and I could go inside." Jessie said.

"Okay." Matt said

~Matts POV~

I was about to text her, I'm nervous. I got this.

Me: Hey:) Wanna come hang at Jessie's with us?

Charlie: Sure! I'll be there in 10.

Me: Sounds good.

~Zacky's POV~

I took Jessie inside to her room.

"Sooo babeeee." Jessie said.

"Yes?" I asked.

"You think Charlie is gonna say yes to Matt?" She asked.

"I'm sure of it. Matt's a great guy." I said.

"Yeah, but I prefer to be with you." Jessie said.

"Duh who wouldn't?" I asked laughing.

"Shut up you dork." Jessie said.

We both leaned in for a kiss which turned into making out again. A good two minutes of it and then we hear a knock at the door.

"Hello? Is Matt here?" Charlie asked when we opened then door.

"Yeah, he's in the garage, I'll be right back babe I'mma lead Charlie to the garage." Jessie says, giving me one more kiss.

"Okay, sounds good." I said, heading back to our room.

~Matt's POV~ 

"Hey, Matt?" Charlie said as she came into the garage.

"Charlie! You made it." I said.

"Yeah!" Charlie said.

I'm doing it now. Fuck. Gonna regret it if I get rejected.

"So, I've been wanting to ask you something for awhile." I said.

"Yeah, what's up?" Charlie asked.

"So, I've liked you for so long as you already know, and I wanted to know if you wanted to be my girlfriend by chance after so much talking and such?" I asked

Charlie paused for a second, then she smiled.

"Matt that's so sweet! Of course I'll be your girlfriend!" She said.

"Great. I'm gonna text Zacky that we're gonna head to my house. That cool?" I asked.

"Sure." Charlie said.

Me: Hey bro. She said yes. I'mma take her to my house.

Zacky: Congrats dude. Okay just make sure to close the garage door on your way out.

Me: Yes.

~Zacky's POV~ 

It had finally reached about 10:00 PM. Laying beside Jessie the whole day was the best. 

"Babe, I am gonna head to bed, I'm worn out." I said.

"Me too, it was a good day." Jessie said.

"Goodnight I love you." I said.

"I love you too. Goodnight." She said.

We made out for a little then finally headed off to bed close to each other.
