The Afterlife (A7X)

Chapter 7: Back To School.

It was the night before our first day back to school and it was also my birthday tomorrow. January 1st. About to be 17 like the rest. 

"You ready to go back to school babe?" Jessie asked as she's playing with my hair.

"I guess. I just wanna be with you the whole time." I said.

"Of course babe, you know we can't resist each other." She said, still rubbing her soft hands through my hair.

I was kind of dozing off to sleep because of how nice it felt laying with her playing with my hair. Then I wake up to her kissing me.

"Wake up sleepy head. If you go to sleep now you won't sleep tonight." Jessie said.

She's cute when she's bossy.

"I know I know." I said. 

The rest of the day we just hung out and watched movies. Then I get a text from a random number.

Unknown: Hey Zacky;)

Me: Who are you?

Unknown: Val dummy. You know I can't resist you Zacky Vengeance.

Me: Okay first of all don't call me that only my boys and my girlfriend can call me that. Second of all, I have a girlfriend. Third of all, stay away from me you psycho.

Val: No. You're mine.

Me: No, I'm not. You're being blocked.

I blocked the bitch again.

"Babe. Who's that?" Jessie asked. She looked like she wanted to cry.

"Baby hey what's going on?" I asked.

"Is that another girl?" She asked.

"Yes but I just blocked her, check yourself babe." I said.

I gave her my phone. We both always tell each other who we text.

She started crying.

"Jessie hey come here." I said, pulling her towards me.

It felt bad having her cry.

"Please don't leave me Zacky. I love you." She said.

"Hey hey I'm not going anywhere." I said. 

"Okay." She said.

I wiped her tears off her face. I cheered her up by kissing her a bunch of times.

"Lets go to bed, okay?" I said.

"Deal." She said putting herself close to me like always.

We headed off to sleep and just like that. The alarm clock reaches 6:30 AM.

"Happy birthday! Time to get ready for shit place!" Jessie said.

"Thank you. And yes of course." I said laughing.

We kissed and we both got ready then headed out the door and all 4 boys were waiting for us. Even Charlie and Kelley. Even Syn's girlfriend Michelle. Johnny ran solo. I put my arm around Jessie while she held my hand that was on her shoulder.

We had arrived to school and split our separate ways to our classes until lunch.

"Man. It feels great with my boys and my girlfriend with me." I said.

"Yeah. We should all go to my place after school today." Matt said.

We all nodded in agreement. I'm just excited to be with my favorite people. It's been three almost four months dating Jessie and I'm happier than ever. 

The end of the day comes and we all meet up at the gates to walk to Matt's house.

"Matthew!" Matt's mom called.

"Yes mom?" Matt asked.

"You guys hungry?" She asked.

We all shook our head no, we had a big lunch at school.

"No mom. We're good thank you!" Matt said.

We went into Matt's garage and I pulled Jessie onto my lap. She loves doing that.

"So guys, I was thinking. Since it's Zacky's birthday, we should do something fun." Jessie said.

"What cha' thinkin' babe?" I asked.

"Maybe like a fair? Or anything Zacky wants to do." Jessie said.

"Right." Matt said.

We did some brainstorming and finally decided to go to a fair.

"Alright guys, we gotta head home, Jessie's cranky when she's tired." I said, laughing.

"Sir I am not! But yeah we gotta go!" She said, smiling.

"Alright." Matt said. 

We got home and I threw her on the bed coming after her.

"Soooo you had a good birthday right?" She asked.

"Of course." I said.

"What was the best part of your day?" She asked.

"Being with you." I said.

I kissed her and it turned into making out.

"Okay, we should go to bed now." She said.

We kissed one more time and then headed off to sleep.
