Chapter 26

Before we start, I would like to let you know this is chapter is basically a sum of everything that has happened.

The interviews that Chloe had scheduled had all gone to plan and they even had somehow convinced the Garbieal Agreste to do an interview with them.

Not to mention Lila's lies had been getting even more unrealistic. Apparently, she had gone to London to see the queen and ask her to help with a charity event in Peru, somehow the class ate it all up and praised her for kindness.

Not even one of them questioned the fact that she had gone to London to talk to the queen about something in Peru or the fact she just said some charity thing, not even what it was about or what the point of it was.

So far Marinette had all her friends, but whenever no one was looking Lila would be glaring at the back of her head. Or try to trip her when Miss Bustier would ask her to give out sheets to the class as she now sat in the front.

Lila would even go to the trouble of trying to bump shoulders on her while walking through the corridor or step on her foot, but Marinette was not the same clumsy girl as back then and all Lilas attempts were in vain as nothing worked.

Nathaniel was their undercover spy plus group member for their real project, they had found a way he could help them in the plan to expose the liar, he would draw bits on the presentation that would match what the content read or what the video would say.

So far everything was going well. They had finished the interviews with Clara Nightingale, Audrey Bougeriour, Jagged Stone and they still had more to do.

Chloe had become a lot nicer to them and they realised why she acted the way she did. She was misunderstood and her parents never had time for her, seeing as her mother was away in New York being Style Queen and her dad would always spoil her by spending a lot of money to satisfy Chloe. Thus she became a spoiled brat and grew up alone and having Adrien as her only friend as a child made her clingy not wanting the friend she had.

Over the past two weeks Chloe had noticed Adrien would act a little differently around Marinette, he would always steal glances at her when she wasn't looking. Chloe was almost certain that Adrien Agreste had a crush on Marinette Dupain Cheng and she was going to be the one to her ship together.

Chloe had gotten over her crush on Adrien seeing as he only saw her as a friend and she now felt the same way about him, she even considered her arch-enemy the girl she used to bully her friend now and one of her closest to.

So she was more than determined to help those two to get together.

Adrien hadn't realised how much he had missed Marinette while she was gone till she had come back and soon he couldn't help but really enjoy the girl's company and spend a lot of time with her.

It wasn't till Chloe saw him stare at her from across the courtyard did he realise that he had a crush on her but he didn't know how to tell her or if she felt the same way about him. He didn't know if he should say anything or wait till the feeling went away but he didn't want to lose the friendship he had now with Marinette while trying to get rid of these feelings.

In all honesty, he was completely hopeless when he came to love after all he didn't want to do something he had done for Ladybug. She was a really special person and if he was going to do something he would do it just for her.
