Chapter 28

The group walked into class confidently that day English was the last subject of the day and through the day they were silently buzzing with energy Mrs Rossi had already called the school and told them it would be Lila's last day there and she was aware of it.

When in reality she wasn't, she was shocked her daughter would do such a thing as lying and threatening to make another student's life miserable.

Finally the bell for the final session rang and students rushed to gather their things before heading to class. It was a Friday and after this lesson it was free for two days at least.

After reaching class, Miss Bustier told everyone to sit in the groups. Marinette, Adrien and Chloe took a seat at Adriens.

The group order would be from the back of the class to the front. Presentations began and they were good and once it was Lila's group's turn they talked about some of the famous charities Lila had helped.

The presentation went forever but finally MIss Bustier told them it was enough and that they still have one group to present, so the group finally shut up with the lies.

Marinette walked in front of the class placing her laptop down as Adrien helped connect it to the screen. While They were doing that Chloe stood in front of the class making an announcement.

"We have made a slight change in our project topic, that is alright isn't it?" the blond asked, looking at the teacher.

"As long as you keep the journaling and interviews in it I don't mind what it's about as long as it is school appropriate" the teacher declared.

The mayor's daughter nodded and turned to her group who had connected the laptop to the screen.

Without a second thought a video began: it was Jagged Stone along with Marinette and Adrien. The class was surprised they got an interview with Jagged Stone.

But as the question started, the truth began to unravel and boy was it entertaining for the group to watch Lila's face as the class soon began to hear the truth.

Most had looks of confusion, others held a curious look, the first bit ended soon, the next began and by the end of the video at least 15 celebrities denied knowing one Lila Rossi.

They were each enraged to find out she had been lying about them and were ready to call their lawyer, even the teacher was surprised.

"Is there anything you would like to say to Miss Rossi?" Miss Butier asked the brunette

The class watched in anticipation as they waited for her answer but it never came. Her face was very pale and she didn't utter a word.

There was no coming back from this, she was ruined by a baker's daughter, a model and the bratty mayor's daughter.

Soon the class door opened and Principal Damocles and Mrs Rossi walked in and saw the video had ended, she saw the entire clases eyes were on her daughter and looks of anger, hurt and sadness.

Mrs Rossi cleared her throat gaining everyone's attention, eyes were on her and she looked around her daughters face had become paler than it was before.

"I myself am in disbelief at what my daughter has told you, what she has promised you was just a lie, everything she has said was a lie." she turned towards her daughter who was looking down to the ground.

"I am very disappointed in her. She has never been anywhere other than Paris and Italy, she never met a celebrity and as of today she has been pulled from this school and will be heading to a boarding school in Italy before that she will be apologising to all of you" she said.

Mrs Rossi turned to Lila and waited for her to talk but she didn't utter a word, "today Lila we have a flight to catch in an hour." She was clearly mad and her anger would be getting worse if Lila decided not to listen to her.

"Sorry" she said barely audibly but still everyone heard her. "Get your things, we have to go" Mrs Rossi said before turning to Marinette, Chloe and Adrien. After grabbing her things she rushed out of the room, not wanting to feel the wrath of her classmates.

"Thank you, the three of you for telling me the truth about my daughter all these years being busy with work. I never saw this side of her. That and stopping everyone from suing me, I'll keep a better eye on Lila from now on. I wish you three the best for the futures" she said before giving them a hug and then walking out of the class.

The three smiled, they had done it, the liar had just been exposed for good. Before their classmates could say anything the bell rang. The day was officially over.

"Marinette, Adrien, Chloe you have done well on your assignment, thank you for bringing the truth to light you are dismissed" the principal told them.

The three packed up their things and walked out of class.
