Chapter 29

The smiles on their faces were contagious. After nearly a month of waiting they had done it. Walking out of the school they agreed to head to Chloe's place to celebrate along with a sleep over.

Surprisingly Gabriel agreed, as they entered the limo Adrien turned to his friends he was so happy one thing would make him even happier but should he take the chance was it worth it.

What if the opposite of what he wanted happened, he would be heartbroken.

"Adrien, earth to Adrien, hello you there" Chloe called, breaking him out of his thoughts, "huh what's going on?" he asked unsurely. "You were in a daze, what were you thinking about a certain blunette?" Chloe teased.

Adrien's cheeks went red with colour, "ummm" he said trying to find something to tell her.  Clearly it was useless as now. "Ask her out, Adrien she'll say yes I have a feeling she'll say yes," she said kindly.

"What if she rejects me? Or just sees me as a friend. I could ruin our friendship by asking and she means too much to me. I don't know if Adrien spiralled till a hand was placed over his mouth.

"Listen up sunshine either you tell her yourself or I'll do it for you so hurry up and do it. Thinking about all these what if's are ridiculous utterly ridiculous" Chloe said flipping her hair back before walking into her room.

Maybe Chloe was right, maybe he should just go for it, he walked into the room before he could change his mind.

He entered to see Chloe and Marinette sitting on the bed. They both were watching something on the TV.

"Hey Marinette, could I talk to you in private for a minute?" he asked and she nodded confused.

The two walked out onto the balcony closing the door but of course Chloe was going to listen and there was no way she was missing this.

"What did you need, Adrien?" Marinette asked, looking at the view of Paris.

"I was wondering... well I...what I'm trying to say is um.." he paused looking up at her and saw her watching him intently.

"Iwaswonderingifyouwouldliketogooutwithme" he said extremely quickly and all in one breath.

"I'm sorry I didn't catch any of that." the blunette told the blond. From inside the room you could see a blond face palming herself at Adien's attempt to ask a girl out.

You would think a guy who is normally very calm would be able to ask a girl out pretty easily but in reality it's quite the opposite.

Adrien took a breath before trying again "I was wondering if you would like to go out with me" he said nervously rubbing the back of his neck. The floor had seemed pretty interesting at the time.

"YES" Marinette shouted before trying to compose herself "yes I would love to go out with you" she said looking at him, when he looked up he saw a smile on her face.

"We should probably get back to Chloe '' Marinette said quietly. Adrien took her hand and slipped it into his own and the two walked into the room to find a very excited Chloe sitting there.

"You finally asked her out about time now, Romeo" Chloe said with a large smile on his face.

The three were happy, very happy, the liar was gone and Adrien had finally asked out the beautiful girl that sat behind him in class and the mayor's daughter was given another chance and had made two true friends.
