"Percy? Percy?" He heard someone call. "I'm over here!" He waved his hand high in the air. "Oh. Jeez, Percy. Ya' scared me to death—metaphorically speaking." Percy stood up. "What do you need me for?" He asked. "Larry wants to see ya'." Jedediah replied. Annabeth raised her brow. "Larry is Chiron." Annabeth's mouth formed into an 'o' shape. "Alright." "Follow me."

"So, what does he need me for?" Jedediah shrugged. "All I know is he found out you're here." Percy looked at him in confusion. "I didn't tell him 'bout you or Annabeth." Percy chuckled. "Well that's dumb." "Oh, shut up." They walked a bit more. "Are we almost there?" Jedediah nodded. "Just right over there," he said, pointing. "Alright, bye." Jedediah said, pushing him in. "Hey!-" "Hello. Are you Percy Jackson?" Percy nodded. "You and your friend, Avabeth? No, Annabeth, aren't supposed to be here. Ahkemnrah said it himself. A boy and a girl will destroy this world as we know it if you don't leave." Percy's eyes widened. Destroy this world? "We've been trying to find a way out, sir." "Ahk has been too," Larry responded. "It might take awhile, so focus on finding another way. Percy nodded. "We'll try our best, sir."

Annabeth was playing near the river. "Oh, I didn't know you were here," someone said from behind. Annabeth looked back. "Thank the gods it's just you. You scared me." Octavius sat down. "Sorry." Annabeth sighed. "It's okay. I've just been on high alert lately. I have a bad gut feeling." Octavius nodded. "I know how you feel. I've been paranoid these few days, too. Ever since you arrived. Not that I think you're going to do something bad, it's just— I don't know." "Understandable." They stared out into the water. "Hey, where's Percy? He's usually with you." "Ch- Larry requested for him." "Ah." "Hey, since you're me, you like Jedediah, right?" Octavius blushed. "Uh, yeah. I guess you could say that. You like Percy then, if it's not to bold to assume." Annabeth nodded. "You're a fun person to be around." "Thanks."

"Hey, Annie!" Annabeth turned around. "Yeah?" "We—" he looked at Octavius. "Could we speak in private?" He asked. Octavius nodded and walked over to Jedediah. "What is it?" She asked. "We gotta work harder on getting out of here," Annabeth frowned. "But everyone's so nice here," "You're not the Annabeth I know. You don't get attached easily." Annabeth chuckled. "I guess I changed." "Anyways, if we don't," Percy took a deep breath. "Wecouldendthisworldasweknowit." Annabeth raised her eyebrow. "Slower, please?" "We could end this world as we know it." Annabeth gasped. "We wouldn't want that. Let's try looking for that pond again.

A/n: I'm so sorry about Annabeth and Octavius just randomly talking about their crushes. I wasn't sure what to put there and there wasn't a bunch of implied crushes so I added it. Please don't kill me.
