Percy yawned. This past week, he was mostly busy with trying to get home before they broke this world by existing. He would skip lessons and sometimes even miss breakfast or lunch. He was exhausted. "Hey pard'ner." He heard Jedediah say in his (iconic) Southern drawl. "Hi. Is it breakfast or did I sleep in again?" Jedediah shook his head. "Ya' woke up just in time, actually." Percy nodded. "I'll be in the mess hall soon. You can go ahead of me." Jedediah nodded. "Alright."

Percy slowly got up from his bed. He yawned once again. His eyes were blurry. He rubbed his eyes. "Hey. Seaweed brain. You coming to breakfast or..?" He heard Annabeth say, motioning towards the mess hall. "Yeah, yeah. Just give me a minute." "I don't have all day," she quipped. Percy practically jumped out of bed and quickly put on a "Camp Half-Blood" shirt and some gray shorts. "All right. I'm coming."

"So Larry said we should check out the woods today." Percy nodded. "Alright. I'll finish eating right now so we can start." Percy gulped down his food. "Alright I'm re—" "Guys!" They heard Jedediah call out. "Larry wants you." Octavius says calmly. "I was 'bout to say it.." he said with a frown. "Oh hush up, cowboy." Percy perked his head up. "What for?" Jedediah shrugged. "I dunno, pard'ner. He wants ya' there now. Ya'll know the way right?" Annabeth nodded. "Alright come on, Jed. We've got a class to teach." Jedediah waved. "Bye."

Annabeth quickly finished her breakfast and threw away the leftovers. They ran to his quarters. "Come in." Percy swung the door open with a bit too much force. "Sorry. I didn't mean to do that." Annabeth pinched her nose ridge and sighed. "It's alright. Come in." They sat down. "I've received news from Ahkmenrah. He's figured out how to bring you back, but you must go to Olympus. It will be very challenging, but I trust you've gone on a quest like this before, have you not?" Percy and Annabeth nodded. "Good. I'll send Jedediah and Octavius along with you. For y'know..just in case. They might come in very handy." "It sounds like you're saying they're like items." Annabeth sighed. Larry stuttered. "You know what I meant. Tell them they gotta go with you. Here, take a map and some items that'll help you on your quest." Annabeth put some in her pockets and Percy put some in his. "Thank you. Was that all?" Annabeth asked. By the tone of her voice, she clearly just wanted to run out and scream. She'd had enough of quests, at least that's what it looked like. "Yes. You may leave now."

They walked back in silence. "So uh—" "Don't speak. I'm in a bad mood." Percy cowered down in fear and immediately zipped his mouth. "Hey. We heard we're supposed to go with ya' on a quest to Olympus?" Percy nodded. "I've packed. Jed, I hope you have something in your backpack." Jed chuckled sheepishly. "I forgot to pack." Octavius glared at him. It was very clear why Octavius was Annabeth. "Wait, how'd you guys know?" Octavius pointed at Jedediah. "It was his idea." Jedediah rolled his eyes. "Way to throw me under the bus." Annabeth crossed her arms. Jedediah felt fear. "OKAY OKAY— WE EAVESDROPPED WE'RE SORRY." Percy chuckled. So this is how he acted? Jeez, he had to change a few things. Jed was annoying right now. Octavius looked up at the sky. "It appears night has fallen upon us," he said, "we should go tomorrow." Annabeth nodded again. "Agreed." "Why can't we just go now?" Jedediah and Percy asked. "Because we'll get lost easily." Octavius replied. "Well it's bound to become night on our quest, anyway," Jedediah said. "Yeah, what's the difference?" Percy added. Annabeth and Octavius just stood there. "That's the smartest thing you've said in a while, Seaweed Brain." Jedediah snickered. "Seaweed Brain?" "Says the one whose nickname is barbarian."

The group all packed and got a lantern. "Alright, are we ready to go now?" Annabeth asked. "You guys didn't forget anything?" They all nodded. "I got food here." "I got water." "I have clothes and an extra lantern." "Alright, then we're all ready."

A/n: Seee? This chapter is wayyy better than the other one. I consider that one a filler. Once I finished with this book, I'll edit it but that'll be a while(I hope). Just bear with me here, okay?
