Everyone was feeling down, except for a particular wide-eyed blonde. For some reason, he seemed very happy that day, but no one was complaining. It helped to have someone talking with such excitement. The only time his excitement dropped was when the blue lady said what losers worked on Christmas. He gave her a look that said, now I might not help you. Bobby and Hen laughed under their breaths when they saw the look, and Eddie patted him on the arm lightly. Buck looked back at Bobby and grinned childishly, causing Bobby to roll his eyes affectionally.

Now they were on their way back from a call, and Buck was practically bouncing off the walls of the truck. Bobby was laughing in the front, while the rest of the team was looking at Buck smiling. Buck let out a small giggle, causing Hen to laugh out loud.

"Buck! Why are you so excited?" She managed to get out, and he leaned forward. They waited expectantly, but he just laughed again.

"You'll have to see! You're gonna love it!" Now, everyone was extremely curious, but Buck kept his lips sealed. When they pulled in, Buck leaped out of the truck and jumped up and down like an excited 3 year old. Bobby tried to grab his shoulders to calm him down, but was stopped by the sudden smell of food. The others had already smelled it, and they looked over to Buck, whose grin widened. He looked over to them with a proud looked, and started his way to the staircase. The rest followed him, almost exploding with curiosity. When they reached the top, Buck yelled at the top of his lungs.

"SURPRISE!!!" The team looked and saw all of their loved ones at the top, next to a feast. They all looked in shock at Buck, who simply grinned.

"Buck, how in the world did you manage to do this?"

"Well, I knew that everyone was feeling a bit down, because we had to work today, so I figured we could just move Christmas here!" He said, still giddy with excitement. The group laughed and thanked him, and they all started to greet each other. Eddie lifted Christopher up and gave him a kiss, causing Chris to giggle and hug him.

"Guess work isn't so stupid now, huh dad?" Eddie laughed and agreed. Everyone enjoyed the food and opened some presents. Buck helped Christopher open his, acting extra excited to make Christopher giggle happily. Eddie looked down at the two and he felt his heart melt.

"Alright everyone! Gather in, we're getting a picture!" Bobby shouted, and everyone got into a hug circle, slightly squished against each other. Buck was standing on a stool to be seen over everyone, and he smiled down at Eddie, causing Eddie's heart to flutter.

Athena looked at the picture when everyone had gone back to talking and something caught her eye. She looked a bit closer, and smirked.

"Hey Eddie! Come over here for a second." Eddie walked over and she showed him the picture.

"Look at your little crush, there." Eddie turned pink but did what she asked. At first, he didn't see what she was talking about, other than Buck looked adorable holding his thumbs up enthusiastically. Eddie was about to ask what she meant, but paused. His breath caught in his throat and he stared at the picture. Buck was standing directly under the mistletoe. How the fuck did he not notice that?! He looked up at Athena and saw her smile. He groaned and smacked his forehead.

"That would've been the perfect moment!" Athena laughed and put a hand on his shoulder.

"There's still some time left! Me and Bobby planned this out." Eddie looked at her, shocked. How the hell did they know he liked him. Athena saw his look and rolled her eyes.

"Eddie, everyone except your little lover boy knows you like him. We made bets! Which is why you have to do this today, because me and Bobby have money on you confessing on Christmas! We can't let Chimney and Hen win." Eddie shook his head, obviously in disbelief. He thought he was hiding it pretty well. Athena snapped her fingers in his face to get his attention.

"Okay, good. You're back. Now, Bobby set a mistletoe up in the locker room, just in case you wanted privacy or whatever. All you gotta do is lead Buck in there, get him under the mistletoe, and voila! Easy." Eddie tried to get out an excuse as to why he couldn't do that, but nothing came to mind.

And that's how he got into this situation. Walking down to the locker room. With a very happy and talkative Buck. Buck didn't question why Eddie wanted to talk in the locker room, which made it a bit easier on Eddie's nerves. When they got in there, Buck picked up on Eddie's nervousness, making him equally nervous. His talking slowly got quieter until he wasn't talking anymore. Eddie turned to him and started to say something, but nothing came out so he shut his mouth again. Buck's anxiety was starting to kick in, wondering if he did something wrong. He tried to think of something, but drew a blank. Maybe Eddie just needed someone to talk to about something! Buck looked back at Eddie, only to slightly jump at the close proximity they were to each other. His cheeks tinted pink as he looked at Eddie questioningly. Eddie seemed to be debating about something in his mind before he decided. He looked Buck straight in the eyes, a hint of love hiding beneath the hard gaze. Buck's eyes widened slightly, the pink tint making its way across his face. Eddie grabbed Buck's hips gently and looked at Buck. Buck nervously smiled back, still a bit confused by the sudden forwardness of Eddie's behavior.

"Mistletoe." Eddie said quietly, and Buck glanced up to see the mistletoe hanging straight above him. He looked back down, eyes set on the other as they both subconsciously started leaning forward, until their lips met. Buck wrapped his arms around Eddie's neck, and Eddie pulled him closer. Neither wanted to part from each other, but they heard a quiet click. They turned to see Maddie, phone in hand, with a shit eating grin.

"I knew you had a boy crush on him." Buck covered his face, embarrassed, while Eddie yelled at Maddie to delete the picture.
