Ch. 4 - Feelings

Stay here tonight," Bright said looking at Win with innocence filled eyes.

"But-"

Bright cuts Win. we have an AC, it is very comfortable here, you can sleep peacefully," Bright said patting the place beside him on the bed.

Win wants to refuse Bright but he couldn't, the way those eyes were looking at him through that round shape glasses. Win thinks for a minute before he agrees to stay. "I'll stay but on condition"

"What condition? " Bright asks curiously

"If you put back your pants."

Bright looks down at himself "oh shit!" He exclaims and puts his pants back on, while Win starts to laugh. Bright also laughs awkwardly as he looks at Win's charming face.

Bright slightly move toward the left side of the bed to make enough space for Win to sleep. Win looked at Bright who was laying there with the blanket covering him up to the chest, putting on a small smile as he lies beside him.
"This one blanket is enough or do you want another one?" Bright asked Win when he saw Win covering himself.

"Bright, this one blanket is enough for both of us I guess as I am not used to all this."

"Then get used to all this, If you sleep well your brain will function better and then you can find decent work to do and can start afresh life."
Bright said. Win got a little annoyed.
"It's 1.30 am, no lecture please or I am leaving."

"No, don't. Sorry, I won't say anything, just go to sleep" Bright act like zipping his mouth. Win smiles at Bright's cute action.

"Hey, Can I call you Win?" Bright asked before Win could say anything.

"Call me whatever like."

"Okay, 'Win' short and cute." Bright giggles but realised Win called him earlier "sorry you were saying something."

"Yeah, I,  I mean... You... " Win bits his lower lip. "I went and came back, it was hardly 2min. So in that 2 min what happened that you...." Bright stayed silent "what I saw, why were you doing that?"

"I...ummm. i just... felt like... I was in a mood... And that can be anytime." The bright face was all red.

"Yes but-"

"OH, GOD! YOU TALK TOO MUCH JUST SHUT UP AND GO TO SLEEP!" Bright turns his back to make sure Win couldn't see his tomato red face.
'How can I tell you, after the kiss and seeing you shirtless, I don't know what happened to me.' Bright thought
He shuts his eyes to sleep so he won't too much about what happened earlier.

Win watch the sleeping figure beside
him thinking 'he likes boys'
before drifting off to sleep.

In the morning. Bright's was brought back from his dreamland by the sound of the door being knocked followed by a  woman asking him to wake up. He turns to another side, he saw Win sleep beside him with half-open eyes and smiled before closing his eyes. He vaulted up as he realised Aunty Jena was knocking on the door and Win was still in deep sleep.

"OH NO!" He exclaimed and tries to wake up Win.

"Bright!!! Wake up, son!" Aunt Jena called once again.

"Hey, win get up,get up metawinnn" Bright shakes the guy sleeping peacefully.

(Knock Knock)

Bright got panicked and threw Win out of the bed. Win wakes up in shock.
"What happened?" He asked.

"Aunty"

"Aunty????

Bright points at the door. "My aunty is here, go and hide somewhere," Bright said in a whisper.
Win gets up and runs here and there in the room to find a place to hide. He tries to hide under the bed. It was a small place he can't fit in there.

Bright holds Win's arm and shoves him toward the bathroom"Go hide in the bathroom, hurry up" and Win does as Bright said.

"Bright!!!!" (Knock knock)

Bright opens the door and pretends as if he just woke up
"What happened Aunt Jena," Bright asks yawning "you disturbed my precious sleep."

"It's 9.30 am and you were still asleep. Did you sleep late last night.?"

"Yeah! I was reading a book till late."

"Which book were you reading I can't see any book here." Aunt Jena asked when she didn't find any book on Bright's table.

"That...I was reading an ebook on my mobile phone."

"You should go to bed early, anyway, your uncle is out of the city, I have time so let's clean your room today." Aunt Jena started to pick up the clothes on the chair to fold them

"What room! I mean thank you so much Aunt Jena it's really sweet of you. But I can do it." Bright said as he takes the clothes from her and folds them.

"You just focus on your study, I'll clean your room and the bathroom too." Aunt Jena took those clothes from Bright and keeps them in the cupboard.
Then she walks towards the bathroom and tries to open the door while Bright stood behind her praying silently.
"Bright this door is locked from inside?"

'I am dead' Win thought as he heard Aunt Jena.

"Locked from inside?
Whyyyy did you lock from inside? Ah.. Am..I mean how can it be locked from inside, aunt Jena. It must be jam... It is jam" Bright walks to the door.

"How is it possible. Push harder."

"Let it be, it'll open on its own after some time."

"What are you even saying, Bright, how will it open on its own?"

"Okay, I'll try to open it as I wanna take a shower." Bright lightly pushes the door "Aunt Jena, Why don't you go and prepare breakfast for me I am starving." Bright makes excuse for his Aunt to leave but she didn't leave and responded with an okay.
Bright holds and twists the doorknob.
"AUNTY, NOW I AM GONNA TRY TO OPEN THE BATHROOM DOOR, OKAY I BRIGHT IS GONNA TRY OPEN THE BATHROOM DOOR," Bright said in a loud voice and Win got the hint of what to do next. He slowly unlocked the door. Bright twist the knob twice before pushing the door open.
"See, it wasn't locked . So now I'll take shower." Bright immediately closes the door and locks it as he finishes the sentence.

Aunt Jena noticed Bright acting weird but decides to ignore it calling Bright silly and walks out of the room smiling.

Inside the bathroom, Bright stands beside Win his back supported by the wall and puts his head on Win's shoulder.  "What a good morning," Bright says sarcastically as he sighs in relief which made Win laugh.
"Should I bathe you?" Win asked laughing.
"Oh shut up! Listen, Now I'll go to have breakfast, by then you can leave."

After a few minutes, when Bright didn't hear anything from outside he opened the bathroom door, peeks out to make sure Aunt Jena was not there. Then he came out with Win following him.

"Okay then, I'll go," Win said and goes to the window.

But Bright stops him and asked, "will you come tonight too?"

Win looks at Bright for a moment "Maybe" by saying that word Win left without smiling or turning back to look at Bright.

Bright looked upset, 'why would he say maybe wasn't he comfortable here' he thought.

Win who was now walking away from Bright house murmuring "No, Bright, if I keep meeting you it will be difficult for me to stay away from you. I came here to steal but you have stolen my heart. And if I am not wrong, these feelings aren't one-sided. But Bright, I don't have any future and mee being with you is not good for your future. I'm sorry, Bright I think whatever it is has to stop here." Win turns back and saw Bright's room window for the last time before running away.

Someone rings the bell of Bright's house. Bright was climbing downstairs to open the door but before that Aunt Jena opened the door. A tall brown-haired guy whose ears were pierced and a bag hung on his shoulder stood there with a smile.

"GAWIN!"
