*Arc Resistance six months later 3rd pov*

Its been half a year since Jaune had started training his magic. (Please note all Keyblade that are being used at this point will be a big help for now untill he starts Beacon and the few surprises between now and then and yes he can use magic with the other keyblades but ones that focus on magic take less strain on his strength. For example Sleeping Lion from KH2 will increase his combo damage instead of increasing his hits by one like in the game but magic attacks are weakened and the Metal Chocobo KH1 magic is almost negligent doing little to no damage but still capable of inflicting its status effect i.e. burn, freeze, paralysis, time and aero but to a lesser extent this with something like Oathkeeper, or LadyLuck KH1, also I tweaked the stats on some Keyblades to compensate for the mechanics of both games as weapon stats are completely different as magic works differently in both games, so if weapon stats are different from the games that is why.)

"Great work you two, you've both made tremendous progress. Joan you've nearly mastered your semblance and swordsmanship, while you Jaune have made quick mastery of your technique and spells!" Michael said making the eldest set of twins grin. "Now that being said, it's time for the both of you to head out, Jaune you wanted to go to Beacon right?" Their father asked earning a nod from his only son. "And Joan you're going to Heaven correct?" Michael added getting a content nod from Joan.

"Yeah hopefully Auturia can give me a good spar while I'm there!" Joan exclaimed grinning like a mad woman.

"Good, now onto more important matters, seeing as both schools will be holding initiation in six months, so Jaune you'll be traveling to Vale on your own while we take Joan to Heaven" Michael said heading inside.

"I guess this is where we part ways huh." Joan said catching her twins attention.

"Yeah... to be honest I'm kinda nervous about going to Beacon." Jaune said rubbing the back of his head.

"Oh please, ever since you got that key, you've been kicking my ass twelve ways to Atlas and back, not to mention you have been able to make dad use more force when you two spar!" Joan said throwing her hands up in defeat unable to comprehend her twins jump in power and abilities.

"You're right Joan, its probably just jitters about the trip to Vale and initiation coming up." Jaune said sighing in relief.

Slapping her twins shoulder Joan laughs at Jaune "Come on you goof, lets get packing, you got a long trip ahead of you, and I'm sure Mel isn't going to be happy about it." Joan said smiling and actually glad her twin was doing something for himself.

"Thanks Joan." Jaune said throwing his arm over his twins shoulder as they headed inside.
*the next day.*

"Are you really going to Vale big brother?" Mel asked as he took a knee to look her in the eyes.

"Yeah, I really am Mel, I'm going to become a Huntsman so no-one will be afraid of the dark, or the monsters that hide there." Jaune said smiling earning a smile in return as Mel launched herself at him hugging her big brother tightly.

"I'm going to miss you!" Mel said as she started to cry into his shoulder.

"Hey its going to be ok, you'll see me and my team when the Vital tournament happens and besides, if it becomes too much you can always come visit me at Beacon!" Jaune said rubbing her back as she tightened her grip.

"I can really come visit you?" Mel asked necking up to look Jaune in the eyes.

"Would I lie to my favorite sister?" Jaune asked before leaning to her ear. "Just don't let Saphron know I said that." Jaune added winking at Mel making her giggle.
