The Darkside of the Forest pt2

(Jaune pov)

As the Neo-Darkside stood in the center of the room tempting us to strike Yang was busy checking over Ruby.

"how do we deal with this thing?"  Blake asked as I readied my blades.

"Blake give Ruby one of those potions and take one of these as well." I said pulling an either from my belt and earning a nod. "Nora. Got any smoke grenades on you?" I followed up getting a grin from the sloth maniac

"Never leave home without them." Nora replied as she loaded her weapon with them.

"good, Ren and pyrrha, I need you to give me some cover fire, I'll draw it's attention and keep it's focus on me." I tell them as I stared down the heartless.

"you can't be serious. You're going to fight that thing head on?" Weiss asked as I gave her a smirk.

"who said anything about going head on?" I asked as I dug my boots into the ground before using flowmotion to close the gap as Neo-Darkside raised its blade. "TAKE THIS!" I whispered as I used Sonic Blade to increase my speed slashing at its side to get behind it. "Brave Shot!" I slam both key blades into the ground causing pillars of fire to rise from the ground launching Neo-Darkside into the air. "Try this one!" I leap into the air close to the heartless before using Brave Beat and Sonic Strike in tandem before finishing off with Sonic End.

(Blake's pov)

I joined my partner after getting bottle medicine from Jaune. "Here give Ruby these, it'll help her heal faster." I tell Yang as I turned to see Jaune giving orders before rushing to the monster. "What is he doing!" I yelled getting Yang's attention before seeing Jaune teleport? Behind the monster and sending it into the air before performing multiple strikes against the creature. "Talk about turning up the heat!" Yang joked as Jaune's attacks burned red like fire as he swung his weapons.

As Jaune swung his weapons down to slam the heartless into the ground the Neo-Darkside spread its wings and avoided his attack causing the blonde keyblade holder to overextend allowing the creature to attack slashing its sectional blade across his back.

"Ggahhhh!" Jaune cried as he was send into one of the nearby pillars cracking it. Slowly getting to his feet Jaune was face to face with the new heartless before being back handed back to his fellow initiates. "Nora smoke screen please." Jaune asked earning a nod  before the room was filled with pink smoke. "Ren, Pyrrha cover fire at two and eleven." Jaune added as he popped open two of his potions and drank them down curing the large gash on his back before taking an either to top off his aura. "Ok, Weiss I need a big favor from you." Jaune said earing the white haired princess attention.

"And what would there at be?" The heiress asked. as she stood ready for the heartless to attack.

"I need all the Lightning, and Wind dust you have on hand. The bigger the source the better, all I have is fire powder and several sizes of Gravity stones." Jaune tells her as he changed Metal Chocobo to Forever Fall and Star Seeker to Spell Binder.

"All I have are a few lighting and wind gems, at most it'll cause a large gust and a moderate sized lightning strike but that's all." Weiss explained as he gave her a smile.

"That's all I need." Jaune held out my hand as Weiss put the gems into his hand. "Ok, now  need you to layer the floor in ice and wait for my signal." Jaune said her earing a nod as the I prepared the final assault. "Pyrrha, Ren, get ready to move in on my mark." Jaune told them earing a nod. "Ok here goes nothing!" Using flowmotion Maybe blitzed around the room coming up behind the Neo-Darkside dropping the lightning gems as he sped made by striking the behemoth paralyzing it for a moment. "Try this one!" Jaune this yelled as he raised both key blades up "Thundaga!" He called as the room darkened and thunder rolled in the room surprising everyone present as they were indoors before seeing the monster being struck by almost a dozen large lightning bolts. "Combination magic!" Jaune whispered. "Thundara and Aerora!" He called out as Jaune created tornado of lightning trapping the Neo-Darkside.. "GUYS NOW!" Jaune called out as Weiss covered the floor in ice as Ren and Pyrrha ran into the fray letting them gain speed as they slid across the frozen floor being pulled in by the tornado. Releasing the magic he swapped his key blades back to Metal Chocobo and star seeker as the others to closed in. "SONIC RAID!" Jaune yelled as his blades glowed an eather real blue as Ren got to Neo-Darkside slashing Storm Flower across its chest while Pyrrha was close behind using akuoh in its xiphos form cutting at its legs causing it to stumble and lower its head. "Take this!" Jaune called out as his blades cut through its neck decapitating the heartless and releasing its corrupted heart with no one but Jaune any the wiser as they were such celebrating their success in destroying it..
