Arrival at Beacon (pt1)

*Jaune pov*

Watching the light dim in Spellbinders book I read the last page added. 'Valor Drive'

"Hey what's Valor drive?" Amber asked peaking over my shoulder.

"I think it was that new ability I used, but I wished I knew how to use it?" I said swapping to Kingdom key. "Maybe I just say ValorDrive?" I ask as I was blinded by the light as my clothes started to take a red shade to them with vermilion lightning crackling across my body. "Guess its that simple." I add as I turn it off changing my clothes back.

"Hey wanna have a spar and see what new moves you got?" Amber asked as she pulled out her body staff giving it a few spins.

I grin as Phil walked up. "Hey if you kids wanna fight the arena is open for.public use, just keep damage to a minimum." Phil said surprising us.

"Let go!" Amber said grabbing my arm and pulling me to the arena. "Ok rules are magic is allowed, you can't use your potions or eathers or elixers. And first to get a clean hit wins." Amber said as I nodded. Just when we were about to start Qrow walked up to us.

"Sorry kids, but your fight will have to wait, I got us a ride to Vale and it leaves in thirty minutes, so we have to get our bags and go." Qrow said making Amber pout as she wanted to practice with Jaune before leaving.

*10 minutes later, Bullhead platforms. 3rd pov*

The walk to the platforms was uneventful as people were leaving the Bullheads that just arrived. "So this it finally it. We're only a few hours away from Beacon Academy, so we should arrive before night fall. Now I'm going to check out flight so wait here." Qrow said as he walked off.

"So did you send that trophy to your parents?" Amber asked as Jaune nodded.

"Yep, I should be expecting a call from them soon once it arrives, so maybe by the time initiation ends." Jaune said as he noticed the crowd emptied the area. "Something's wrong here." Jaune said summoning his Kingdom Key.

"what's going on, it's like everyone just disappeared." Amber said noticing the change.

After saying that several black portals opened up as several small floating creatures appeared along with some that were larger versions of them.

"aww the little ones are adorable!" Amber cooed as the three small red ones spun in place glowing before firing off several large balls of fire at Amber.

"OK LESS CUTE! LESS CUTE!" Amber yelled quickly pulling her staff and wacking the balls of fire away. As the other monsters started their attack. Each of the small ones glowed their respective color before firing off spells that match. Blue fired ice spells yellow shot out lightning, Red shot fire and the white coated themselves in wind before charging at them.

"come on! Try this, 'BLIZZARD!'" Jaune yelled firing off a small group of ice shards and blasting them towards the new enemies. The ice flew through the air before nailing the Red Requiems making them instantly disappear leaving behind red shards. "Amber they're weak to their opposite element!" Jaune yelled as he fired off a few fira balls towards the Blue Rhapsody instantly dispelling them as the Yellow Opera sparked with lightning and Emerald Blues created a barrier of wind before launching themselves towards Amber. "Amber look out!" Jaune warned but was too late as the Opera was the faster of the two types nailing Amber in the  right side and front of her body shocking her in the process before being sent flying by the Blues intense Aero attack.

"Gahhaa!" Amber screamed as the Operas started their assault on Amber attacking from different angles causing Jaune to be surrounded by a dark aura seeing his friend get hurt.
