Y/n's pov
"Vander learns none of this", Vi ordered. "No worries there, Powder took care of the evidence", Mylo commented causing me to elbow him into his side. "I tired, okay? You don't get it", Powder fussed. "You're older, your bigger it, it isn't fair", she added. "So stick with us", Mylo retorted.
"Mylo please shut the hell up", I fussed. "Why you defending her it's Tre she should've stayed with us", he snapped causing me to let out a scoff. "Oh really? Her stay with you? You were to busy getting your got your ass beat", I fussed. "Then let her stay with you, you took out like five of those guys", Mylo fussed. "Exactly I had to fight five of them so I was busy", I sneered.
"Guys shut up", Vi fussed. Shutting us up in time for Vander to come in. We sat in silence, the silence was making us look guilty.
"Everyone all right", Vander questioned. "Never better", Mylo sighed. "Yep...you doing alright", I asked. "Jolly", Vander replied as he began circling us.
"But I don't suppose you can explain why it is that I'm hearing about an explosion and a foot chase topside", he questioned. "Five children fleeing the scene", he added stopping behind Powder as he stared down Vi who was avoiding eye contact with him.
"What the hell were you thinking", Vander asked Vi. "That we can handle a real job", she answered. "A real job", Vander questioned. "We got our own tip, planned a route, nobody even saw", she explained. "You blew up a building", Vander stated. "That wasn't-Did you even stop to think what could have happened to you", Vi tried to retort but Vander cut her off. "Eh? To them", he questioned demoting his hands to us. It was quiet for a moment, we all avoided looking at Vander.
"Y/n", he called out. "Yes..sir", I replied still looking away. "Your mother wants you home now", he stated, shit. I stood up taking one last look at Vi then left the room to head back home.
𓅿𓅿𓅿
I stood outside of my home. I took a deep breath in and out. "Here we go", I sighed then walked forward. I walked under the entrance straight into the courtyard. People were practicing their fight style. We only learn Tai Chi related due to the health benefits, but my mother believes we should only fight without hatred in our bodies. As I walked in between the trainees and trainers they bowed to me causing me to bow back to them. My smile immediately dropped when I saw my mother was already waiting for me. She motioned for me to follow her inside which I reluctantly did.
"You are foolish", she fussed. "It was a well planned out job", I retorted. "Oh really? Then why did you cause an explosion and get changed through out of topside", she snapped turning around to face me. "Jobs just go bad sometimes", I explained which she let out a scoff. "Jobs just don't go bad you are a child and you should remain in that place", she explained. I was too worn out to even argue I just rolled my eyes and slumped back into the chair.
My mother walked around to stand in front of me. She squatted down and grabbed my hands. They were bloody and bruised. My mother rubbed her thumb against them with a somewhat sad look on her face.
"How many times do I have to tell you, fight with an open palm", she sighed. "Punches get the job done", I stated. "That may be true, but you are allowing hatred into your heart", she explained. "Did you hate whoever you was fighting", she questioned while standing up to sit on the desk. "...No", I answered. "Then open your palms", she said. "Yes Mother", I sighed. "Come long now", she said getting off the desk and walked off. I got to of the chair to join her side. We stood in front of the opening to watch the trainers and trainees in the courtyard.
"So who was it that made the plan", she asked. "Vi", I answered. "Of course it was her", she chuckled. "What's that suppose to mean", I asked. "You do everything for that girl", she answered. "Yeah because she's my friend", I stated causing her to let out a scoff. "Friend right", she said. "She is", I stated. "That's what I used to call your father", she commeted. My face turned a bit red and my eyes widen a bit.
"Vi is a friend", I declared. "Lies aren't good for the soul dear child", she smiled then turned around. She placed a hand on my shoulder. "You can go back to your "friend" now", she chuckled then walked back into the budding. I watched as she did then faced forward.
"Vi's on a friend yep only a friend", I giggled trying to convince myself. I heard someone laugh so I looked over to the side seeing one of the men cleaning their staff.
