DURING THAT WEEK, you and keiji had gotten to know each other a lot more. whether he asked you random questions about yourself, or you talked about something you both had in common which led to another conversation, he knew you a lot better now.you guys went way back to highschool and even middle school during your conversations. he liked how well you were able to hold a conversation.
there wasn't a dull moment when you called him randomly at night. you guys would laugh, or just share random conspiracies you both had.
you had enjoyed every moment with keiji. he shared mutual feelings with you. the way your laugh sounded at night was like music to his sleepy ears.
after school when he'd pick keiko up he'd try looking for you and when he did he always gave you a subtle thumbs up. he still hadn't told keiko and he wouldn't until he knew you wouldn't neglect or leave them like her mother did.
you liked his small smiles when he facetimed you. he always held one on his face and you'd make it your mission to get a full smile outof the handsome man. his sleepy voice was a bonus when you called him at night.
his deep chuckles would fill your ears and made you blush slightly knowing you made him laugh. the way he'd be nodding to sleep when he got even more tired.
the way he was always respectful towards you was the best part. he never called you a bitch or any foul names. you appreciated it, many men didn't give you respect when you either turned them down and they got embarrassed nor when you ignored them.
they always gave some type of insult but you thought about how dumb they were. if you were everything they claimed you were, why did they talk to you in the first place? why did they even think of wasting their time?
you couldnt wait for you date with keiji, he felt the same way.
he hadn't gone on dates in a while even after bokuto tried setting him up multiple times. he thought they only wanted him for money, his looks, or to get with bokuto in the end.
he went for a very fancy date for the first one. since he was practically new to this, he didn't want you eating outside and he didn't want you to sweat a lot.
filling your stomach was his best bet. going to a benihana was also a very good spot, the food would be cooked infront if you and the waiter would do cool tricks for you.
he was a little worried for keikos reaction when he finally told her. when he had told you he was waiting for the right time, he was lying.
he didn't know when the right time would be. whether it was when the date was over, when you guys got together, or years later when you guys possibly got engaged.
he didn't fucking know.
