CALLING PRACTICE TO AN END, you allowed parents to come inside of the gym. you didn't allow parents inside of the gym during practice because they'll yell, cheer, and complain.
you didn't have the time for that. so, you made them wait outside and gave them a small window to look through. the kids couldn't hear them inside so they're was no issue.
(if you've watched bring it you'll understand what i mean by small window to see thru)
you sat down with chiyo and went to your clipboard. you wrote exactly what the girls needed to work on within two weeks.
you had a match in two weeks with a smaller elementary school. they're the ones who beat you last year. so you had to get revenge, for your team of course.
as keiji was picking up keiko, keiko ran up to you as usual and dragged her father along with her. the male was embarrassed and just looked away.
the young girl hugged you very tightly, almost making you choke. nonetheless you hugged the small girl back.
keiko "BYE MISS [LAST NAME]!!!"
you "bye miss keiko, bye akaashi-san."
keiji smiled at you from the side as his daughter dragged him to his car. she was telling him every little thing that happened at practice.
she was very proud of her setting, the girls almost always got them. she's improving very quickly.
while with you, you were being yelled at for someone's kids not being an official setter.
random crazy lady "my kid deserves that spot!! that other one can wait her turn."
you looked at her unamused.
you "did you hear the shit that came out of your mouth?"
random crazy lady "well yeah?!"
you "use that same thing for your daughter. goodnight."
you closed the gym door on her while chiyo was laughing at the scene unfold. you sighed and began cleaning up the gym.
you were tired of rude ass parents. they're acting like they're the ones who have to choose, who have to play, and have to coach. if their kids made it to the final twelve, they're going to play in a game at least twice.
she shouldnt have been yelling at you because of that, her daughter didn't even care about it that much so why did she?
and if her daughter did care, she can come to you about it before anybody else does.
setting that entire situation aside, you wanted to tell chiyo about your feelings for keiji. like what you should do, should you even ask him out first if he's not ready to tell keiko?
because of this, you offered to drive chiyo home. its been a long few weeks of being in the 'talking' stage with him. when's the relationship stage?
even if you wanted to be in a relationship with him now, you'd keep waiting for him to communicate with you.
while chiyo packed her stuff up, you started to get your own. you moved the carts to their belonged places and got up random items kids left in here already.
as you waited for chiyo you began to wonder if this was a good idea. she would probably tease you until you snapped or even tell your other friends about it which would be even worse.
theyd post it on social media. 'meaning' to put it on their private accounts but putting it on their public accounts.
keiji could possibly follow one of them and that's only more embarrassing.
sure, he knew you liked him but itd be embarrassing for him to find out from someone else.
you both began to walk to your car and put your bags in the back seat.
chiyo "mind explaining why you're driving me home, [first name]?"
you furrowed your eyebrows and stared at her.
you "damn bitch i cant be nice?"
she shook her head no as you started the car.
chiyo "not without needing something you can't."
you began driving and wanted to start talking about it already before she pissed you off.
you "whatever chiyo, i do need something."
she looked at you confused.
you "i need help about my feelings for akaashi."
she started to laugh and yelled she knew it to you. as you told her about your feelings, she's had no experience with the same situation.
she tried her best and just told you to give it a months and if he still hasn't asked you out then you just do it yourself.
you explained to her about how he possibly wouldn't be ready but she told you if he's being affectionate he could be ready for you.
you smiled at the thought of the two of you being together.
