Y/N POV:
Today is the day! I come out to my bestie... I've liked her for years, but she doesn't know I'm gay. I wonder how she'll react! I hope she's supportive :( I really like her, she's the kindest person ever!
I walk to school all happy, but when I see Dua. I get nervous, I still can't believe I finally had the courage to this. She'll be supportive, I know... well at least I hope so.
I approach her, thinking if I should do it now, or wait till lunch.. Since I'm a bit nervous right now, I'll just wait till lunch.

Soon enough, lunch starts. I walk inside the cafeteria then walked to Dua, she's sitting next to Jayden, her... ex.. Don't even think about it, y/n! They're just hanging out! Maybe, catching up. "Hey Dua!" I say. "Hey, baby!" I blush, "Can I sit with y'all's?" I ask, they just nod. I sit down then took my lunch out. "What're you having?" I ask them. "I'm having this ham sandwich." Dua says, "I'm having some chips, Gatorade, and A Sandwich." Jayden says. "Dua, I gotta tell ya sum later." I say, taking a bite of my grilled cheese. "Alright." She says, eating her food. We all ate our lunch.

We soon all finished, so I decided to tell Dua to come with me to the bathroom. When we arrived, I take a deep breath.
"Ok, uhm, I don't know if you already knew this but I'm gay.." I say, looking down. "That's cool!" She says, smiling. "And I uhm.." I continue "I really... like... you.." I try not to cry due to embarrassment. "Oh uhm, I'm sorry.. I don't feel the same, but I completely support you!" She says, the words shattered my heart.
"It's ok, it's not like you're supposed to feel the same, right?" I say, smiling. "Yeah.. I guess?" She responds. "Let's just pretend this never happened, and just continue with our day. Sorry for bothering you.." I say, walking out the bathroom. I run straight to the rooftop, crying my heart out. Well, that hurt. I didn't expect her to like me back, but it still shattered me.
