Dua and I have been friends for over 6 years now, and I've developed feelings for her. Well, since it's new year's eve, I'm planning to confess, if she rejects me, I'll easily get over it since, well, I confessed last year, and if she doesn't then that's a fucking miracle.
It's currently 11:30 pm, and I'm waiting for the clock to hit 11:59:59 so I can send my message. Yes, I know it's such an exact time, but if she rejects me, I can say 'Well I confessed last year, it's ok!'. Ok, I can't wait any longer, this is boring. Oh wait, woah fireworks! I need to go outside to get a better view!
I put on my shoes, and run outside.
Wow, it's so pretty! Wait, what time is it? I check my phone to see that it's 11:58, so I open snap, and paste the message I wrote. I wait for the clock to hit 11:59, and when it finally does, I hit send.

Hey, I have something to tell you.
I uhm, I've liked you for like 2 years now, and I don't expect you to like me back at all. I've been wanting to tell you this for ages, but I just got the courage to finally do so. I hope this doesn't change anything between us, by that I mean, I hope we stay as friends.
after I sent the message, I put my phone in my pocket, my heart fluttering rapidly. I look up in the sky, to see more fireworks.
After all that was done, I finally check my phone.

I hesitantly click on it, and when I did, I was shocked by what I saw.

Me:
Hey, I have something to tell you.

Me:
Oh my God! I totally didn't expect that, but I'd like to take you out on a date on the 3rd, obviously if you're free, and if that's ok with you!
Dua:
I'd love to go on a date with you, just tell me what time, and where!
I smile to myself, as I chat with her, my heart feels so full right now, overwhelmed with excitement, and joy.
Me:
Will do! x
She sees my message and reacts a heart on it.
