Hey Corinne, I hope you are fine and slept well.😊 Here we are with another chapter of the story. I would be really curious about your ideas on who the characters are😉 So if you want to... 👉👈

Anyway, thank you for reading this advent calender and I wish you a wonderful day!🥰

The two marched through the forest for quite a while, it was already evening, the red rays of the setting sun bathed the trees in orange light. Take-chi wore a satisfied grin on his lips, he had decided to forget that he had no memories of the past and just concentrate on the future, or rather the here and now, but he would have to see how long this resolution would last.

In front of him walked such a gorgeous creature, he wanted to court her, Tika was like the most beautiful human being he had ever seen. She skipped lightly in front of him, humming an enchanting melody in that honeyed voice. She seemed so free, at ease, cut off from all restraints, simply perfect. Every time he looked at her he had to smile.

"We'll be there soon, don't worry," Tika remarked as they passed a small stream through which they waded to get to the other side. "What would you like to eat? I can't offer much, but I might have enough ingredients for curry at home, oyster curry, do you know it?" the brown-haired Little Red Riding Hood asked.

Take-chi tried hard to remember if he had even heard the word "curry..." anywhere before. Not to mention oyster curry. So he shook his head. "No I don't, what is it?" but before he could get an answer he interrupted his companion. "Wait, no I don't want to know at all, well, not yet, later of course, no question, I'll see," he was nervous, or whatever made him stammer like that.

"Haha, alright, curry today then, huh? Tachi, you're really cute, so absentminded. Adorable.", Tika giggled, now pushing aside some drooping vines, from a rocky outcrop they had reached.

Take-chi didn't know if he liked being 'cute', or rather less..., wasn't he supposed to be brave and 'cool'? But before he could ponder further, he was interrupted. "Just through here, then we'll be there," Tika announced and Take-chi felt some excitement as to what the, he assumed, cave would look like.

However, he got a big surprise, because behind the curtain of vines was not a rocky cave at all, as he thought. But red stones, they were laid out in a way that they looked downwards, Take-chi had never seen anything like that in his whole life. At least he thought he had... "Watch out, the bricks are a bit slippery, so be careful where you step," Tika admonished him, almost too late. But he managed to hold on and made an effort to climb after the Little Red Riding Hood, through a small window into a room that was sparsely lit.

Take-chi had avoided looking at the ground too much earlier, because every time he tried he got all dizzy. They were quite high up, a foreign environment below them, the prince guessed, even if he had no memories. Why did one walk over these "bricks" if they were so dangerous?

Once inside, Tika slipped her shoes off her feet and hung her red cloak on one heel. The visitor looked around a little uncertainly. What should he do now, he was unfamiliar with such a house. Could this block they were in now actually be called a house?

"Hey, make yourself comfortable, I'll set up some tea, then I'll start cooking, okay? Just put everything down, anywhere, just maybe so it's not all cluttered, just don't worry Tachi, I know everything must seem a bit strange to you here right now.", the light brown haired man calmed down a bit again. He did as he was told and followed Tika into what he thought was the kitchen. She was almost prettier without her coat, Take-chi thought, and smiled shyly.

Her dark brown hair bobbed up and down as she hummed to a song that seemed to come from a small box. Tika was now wearing a red apron and worked diligently at the hearth. Take-chi, with a cup of tea in his hand, which he found just a little strange after all the other things, made himself comfortable on a chair so that he could still look at Tika's fine fingers. Every single one of the movements seemed so purposeful, fluid, she must have prepared this dish many times. 'So skilled.'

"Tachi? What do you think of me telling you a little about this world? You can't remember, but maybe this information will help you..." she suggested, putting her knife away for a moment, with which she had just been chopping vegetables, and gave him a serious look.
